#1. Kokatahi @ $2.50 – Superb trials leading into this against some smart horses. Gets a good claim with Grima taking 3kg off and will be hard to run down out in front.
Race 5
#3. Big Red Tequila @ $1.85 – Even keener now that Nazwah has been scratched. Has been excellent this prep since returning and comes here fresh. Wet track no issues.
Sandown
Race 6
#2. Royal Rendezvous @ $1.80– Super impressive first up and was a horror watch last start being held up. Wider track here today will suit, and expect him to power over the top of them here late.
Oakbank
Race 1
#8. Orlova @ $2– Becoming a frustrating filly but this looks super winnable today. Carries no weight here, and expect Hutchinson to be positive early and put these away.
Race 6
#8. Pricilla’s Choice @ $6 / $2 – Loves it here, having won 3 from 4 at this track and distance and placing the other start. Murtagh has a great affiliation with this horse, and if she can slot in early from barrier 8 she goes very close. Easy EW bet.
Ipswich
Race 6
#13. The Stars @ $4– Always respect when Sydney form travels to QLD. Liked the trials leading into this, and just looks better placed here. Wet track no issue.
