#1. Wanda’s Spark @ $2.15 (neds) – Comes through a strong-rating race first-up and should take plenty of improvement from that run. Looks well placed with the added fitness.
Race 3
#1. Cheval De Bois @ $2.05 (neds) – Looks the one to beat after producing an excellent effort against the pattern last start. This shapes as a two-horse race, with Sister Daee the main danger stepping up in trip.
Devonport
Race 7
#9. Garcon Despoir @ $2.50 (neds) – Has had little go right this preparation and arguably should have won his past two. This is tougher, but he’s racing too well to ignore.
Eagle Farm
Race 2
#6. More Revolution @ $19 / $4.20 EW (neds) – Got too far back on debut but worked home well enough and has trialled nicely since. The rise to 1200m on the bigger Eagle Farm track should suit and he can improve sharply at odds.
