Roosters vs Storm – Thursday 7.50PM at Allianz Stadium

Roosters
Chad Townsend’s return to back the side is short lived after the veteran halfback has been dropped for Sandon Smith. Both Billy Smith (HIA) and Victor Radley (shoulder) are sidelined and have been replaced by Ethan King and Siua Wong respectively.
Storm
Cameron Munster is an omission for this matchup and is replaced by Tyran Wishart. Nelson Asofa-Solomona is also a key out due to suspension.
SuperCoach Analysis
A few things to note with the Roosters team. They have a tricky run home facing Melbourne twice, Manly, and the Dogs. Littered between those games though matches against the Dolphins, Parramatta and Souths. Angus Crichton looks good value at $590K, but just doesn’t have the same attacking output as last year. Saying this, he scored his second try of the year last week outside of Sam Walker, which could definitely see his attacking stats increase. James Tedesco is still a HOLD in my eyes. He’s still the best fullback in the comp, and whilst the Roosters have a tricky run home, they need to win games, and Teddy will have a hand in a lot of those attacking moments. Mark Nawaqanitawase is the other player to look at. He doesn’t have the base output that other gun CTW’s have, but what he lacks there, he makes up for in attacking creativity. With a BE of 159, you can wait and see. If you own, I’d suggest to HOLD and play for matchups.
Ryan Papenhuyzen was again not named and is a definite SELL. We don’t really know when he’ll return, and if/when he does, he likely doesn’t take back the goalkicking duties. Cam Munster should only be out for the week and is a HOLD.
Cowboys vs Dragons – Friday 6.00PM at Queensland Country Bank Stadium

Cowboys
Plenty of changes for the Cows with Murray Tualagi sidelined with a hamstring injury, which pushes Braidon Burns to the sting, Jaxon Purdue to centre, and Tom Duffy to 5/7. Jaxson Paulo has been dropped and is replaced on the wing by Robert Derby. John Bateman returns from injury and Harrison Edwards moves to prop to replace the injured Thomas Mikaele.
Dragons
Only the one change to the Dragons side who went down narrowly to the Dogs with Corey Allan replacing Sione Finau (injured) on the wing and Mat Feagai at centre.
SuperCoach Analysis
The only SC player of interest in the Cowboys side is Scott Drinkwater, and he should definitely be in your team. He can be a bit of a rollercoaster, but the goalkicking duties this year means that his scores are fairly reliable. He also has a great run home facing the Dragons, Eels, Knights, Tigers and Broncos.
Dragons have zero players of interest for me and also face a tough run home. Christian Tuipuloto returns for NSW Cup this week likely to sure he’s fit and ready for his return to the NRL. He could be a POD play for your CTW, but with multiple injuries this year, be it at your own risk.
Broncos vs Eels – Friday 8.00PM at Suncorp Stadium

Broncos
The Broncs are fresh off the bye. Payne Haas, Corey Jensen and Jesse Arthars are welcomed back from injuries.
Eels
Big news for Parra fans with Mitch Moses returning from injury. Isaiah Iongi is out with a hand injury, which sees Joash Papalii move to fullback and Dean Hawkins to 5/8. Will Penisini also returns from suspension which sees Bailey Simonsson drop out of the squad.
SuperCoach Analysis
The Broncos have a great run home with four games at Suncorp, and fixtures against the Eels, Souths, Dolphins, Knights and Cowboys. For those that missed out on Dylan Edwards, Reece Walsh could be a great POD buy at $661K. He does need a lot of attacking stats, but since coming back from injury, he’s scored 83, 96, 62, and 79. Definitely of interest. Payne Haas also returns from injury and is a MUST for your squad. Josiah Karapani has a BE of 76, but with matches against the Eels and Souths over the next fortnight, he is a HOLD for them and should be included in your team for matchups.
There’s not much interest in the Eels squad aside from Zac Lomax who is a MUST for your squad. With a BE of 67, you could hold off until round 23 (faces Broncos and Melbourne next two) where he then plays the Cowboys, Souths, Roosters, Warriors and Knights. Mitch Moses returns this week but due to this years injuries and the fact he’s not kicking goals, he isn’t an option. He does present excellent attacking value to Lomax though.
Warriors vs Titans – Saturday 3.00PM (AEST) at Go Media Stadium

Warriors
Only the one change for the Warriors with Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad returning from injury in the fullback role which pushes Taine Tuaupiki to 18th man.
Titans
Just the one change for the Titans starting side with star lock Tino Fa’asuamaelaui out with a knee injury and replaced with Klese Haas. David Fifita has re-aggravated an ankle injury and is not included in this weeks squad.
SuperCoach Analysis
Tanah Boyd is set for a decent price rise this week which can see you free up some cash for the run home. If you own Munster, he’s a good option this week to play at 5/8 and even keep on your pine. Outside of Erin Clark, Wayde Egan, and RTS – there is little appeal from the Warriors squad.
Tino Fa’asuamaleaui is reportedly out for a month, but with the Titans completely out of finals contention, I doubt he will even come back. He is a SELL. If you have Beau Fermor, I’d definitely be holding. He’s as consistent as they come, averages 67, and is dual position.
Panthers vs Wests Tigers – Saturday 5.30PM at CommBank Stadium

Panthers
The Panthers welcome back Nathan Cleary and Isaah Yeo. Brad Schneider moves to the interchange, and Isaiah Papali’i moves to the back row to replace Scott Sorensen with Liam Martin lurking in the reserves (wrist injury). Izack Tago returns from suspension which sees Paul Alamoti move to 18th man.
Wests Tigers
Charlie Staines is replaced by Tigers debutant and former Rabbitoh, Izaac Thompson , which is the only change for the Tigers.
SuperCoach Analysis
Nathan Cleary returns this week and is a MUST for your squad. With his return, I am skeptical of bringing in Dylan Edwards. Edwards averages 90 points without Cleary, and 78 points with Cleary. Whilst the Panthers face the Tigers, Titans, and Knights over the next 3, they also finish the year with the Storm, Raiders, Bulldogs and Dragons. These could be low scoring games for Edwards who is at a premium price right now. However, if he is to take over the goalkicking from Cleary, he probably is a must.
Outside of Terrell May, there isn’t much interest in any of the Tigers players. Saying this, Taylan May impressed last week and is a watch over the next round or two.
Rabbitohs vs Sharks – Saturday 7.35PM at Polytec Stadium

Rabbitohs
Injuries continue to rain down on the Bunnies with Latrell Mitchell and Keaon Koloamatangi now sidelined for the remainder of the year, and replaced by Jye Gray and Sean Keppie. Alex Johnston returns to the wing, Isaih Tass moves to centre, and Euan Aitken pushes in to the backrow. Lewis Dodd also makes his season debut at halfback.
Sharks
Jesse Ramien returns from a hamstring injury, and Briton Nikora (concussion) is replaced by Billy Burns.
Supercoach Analysis
Latrell Mitchell and Keaon Koloamatangi are both essentially out for the year and are SELLS. With these two joining a bunch of stars on the sidelines, there is no interest in any of the Souths players.
The Sharks have hit some recent form and have an excellent run home facing Souths, Cowboys, Dragons, Titans, Knights and the Dogs. Players like Hynes and Brailey could go buzzerk over this period. Hynes looks back to his old self, and with a great run home, he looks a MUST for your squad. Blayke Brailey is the recent hype train with a 5RA of 94. Hooker has been a troublesome position this year, and with a BE of 12, now is the week to bring him in if you’re keen. Personally, I just don’t think he can keep up the attacking stats, so if you’re short of cash and/or trades, you can probably pass…which will be tough. If you’re an Addin Fonua-Blake owner, I’d be looking to SELL. With a 3RA of 46, he just doesn’t compare to the likes of Haas and May – and you can spend that money better elsewhere.
Raiders vs Knights – Sunday 2.00PM at GIO Stadium

Raiders
Only the one change for the Raiders with Seb Kris (concussion) replaced by Simi Sasagi.
Knights
Just the one change too for the Knights with Jack Hetherington recalled to the interchange.
Supercoach Analysis
The Raiders have a great run home facing the Knights, Dragons, Manly, Panthers, Tigers and Dolphins. Hudson Young looks a MUST for your squad, but with a BE of 118, you could wait a week. Weeks was a popular trade in last week, and still think he’s a great option as a back up 5/7. Whilst his base isn’t great, he looks dangerous every week, and could post huge scores over the coming weeks. Zac Hosking is another one who is impressing as of late, but with Nicholson due back in a round or two, his minutes will drop so I wouldn’t be brining him in unless you had the trades.
There isn’t much interest in the Knights players at all, but Dane Gagai has certainly impressed at fullback over the past fortnight scoring 104 and 93. He has great base stats, and took over the goalkicking duties late in the game last week, so he could be a great POD for your CTW for the finals run against Cowboys, Broncos, Sharks and Eels.
Bulldogs vs Sea Eagles – Sunday 4.05PM at Allianz Stadium

Bulldogs
Bronson Xerri returns from injury which forces Enari Tuala to the sting and Jethro Rinakama out of the squad. Sam Hughes is named at prop and Josh Curran goes back to the bench.
Sea Eagles
Huge news with star backrower Haumole Olakau’atu returning from injury. This sees Corey Waddell push to the bench and Tommy Talau to 18th man.
Supercoach Analysis
Both Jacob Preston and Viliame Kikau haven’t been scoring great the past few weeks. Saying this, if you own, I’d be erring on the side of holding now that we’re seeing a lot of injuries in the backrow. Lachlan Galvin could be an excellent POD play for your 5/8. He averaged great with the Tigers, and in his 3 80 minute outings for the Dogs, he’s averaging 70 points per game.
Tom Trbojevic is a very interesting prospect. Since playing in his roaming centre role, he’s averaging 91 points, and faces the Roosters, Tigers, Dolphins, Dragons and Warriors over the back stretch. He could be a huge POD play for your FLB role, but with Turbo, it always comes at a risk. With plenty of injuries at 2RF, I really like Haumole Olakau’atu as a BUY. He averages 70 this year, and has a great run home which could include plenty of attacking stats.
