#12. Amusing @ $13 – Ran exceptional closing splits first up and forgiving last start on the wet surface. Drying track suits here today, draws well, and should be hard fit here third up.
Race 6
#7. Tuileries @ $1.90 – Think she’s got more class and ability than these. Draws sticky, but if Sherry can overcome the wide draw then looks very hard to beat.
Race 8
#14. Catch The Glory @ $26 – Loved the trials coming into this and is 2 from 2 first up. Maps for a lovely run from barrier 2 to do no work and only carries 52kg.
Race 9
#1. Robusto @ $3.50 – Should’ve won last start with a horror watch for punters. Will only take improvement from that, step up in distance suits, and draws well.
Race 10
#4. Bunker Hut @ $3.90 – Excellent first up run being cast wide with no cover. Should sit just behind the leader from barrier 1 and be in the finish.
#6. King Of Roseau @ $4.40 – Absolutely flying this prep and loved that last trial leading into this.
Flemington
Race 1
#3. Duchess Zou @ $1.90 – Having an excellent first prep including last start where she ran the fastest last 200m of the day in what was a much stronger field than this. Williams takes the ride and looks hard to beat.
Eagle Farm
Race 1
#9. Arisphere @ $2.60 – Hasn’t got the chocolates this prep but she’s also had some bad luck. Maps perfectly today to get every possible and just have to be with her here.
Race 8
#2. Benzou @ $2.90 – Running well this prep and loved that last start run coming third by a short distance. Barrier 1 is scary for this horse who can get back in the field, but if he can overcome that he’s right in this.
Morphettville
Race 1
#3. Layeruponlayer @ $3.60 – Just think he gets the ultimate run here sitting just off the speed behind the leader to have every possible. Think back in trip suits this horse and presents here at peak fitness.
Race 4
#7. Nicish @ $2.40 – Really impressive win last start when settling showing a good turn of foot to make it 2 wins from her last 3 starts. Should lead this field today from the wide draw and be hard to run down.
Race 5
#5. Ethereum Girl @ $4.50 – Looked the winner last start only to get nabbed late on the line. She did overrace a touch there, so if she can settle here and get a good run with cover, looks a great price at $4.50.
