Race 3
#7. Amreekiyah @ $3.20 – We were on her last where she just got too far back in the field. Ran exceptional closing splits and will be better for that run here.
Race 7
#3. Roselyn’s Star @ $5.50 – Exceptional first up run off a 14 month spell. Think staying at the 1100m is perfect, and maps for a great run to have every possible here.
Race 10
#5. Bunker Hut @ $14 – Looks well over the odds here. Has produced some excellent third up runs, and has won over this course and distance. Just needs a touch of luck from the wide draw.
Caulfield
Race 2
#1. On Display @ $4.80 – Brings the best form into this race winning the Adelaide Guineas last prep before going for a spell. First up here and will have to carry the big weight but is the class horse of the field.
Race 7
#2. Arkansaw Kid @ $6 – Cracker race this with plenty of class runners. Siding with Arkansaw Kid who already has the run under his belt while the others in the market are first up and have bigger races in mind.
Race 8
#11. Stretan Angel @ $11 – Failed to fire a shot last prep but jumpouts leading into this have looked excellent to suggest she might be back. Maps to get an economical run and think the $11 is a touch of overs.
Race 9
#6. Another Wil @ $4.40 – Cracker race this, and siding with Another Wil who has 3 wins from 4 starts first up, and 3 wins from 4 starts at this track and distance. Maps well to be right in the mix here.
Morphettville
Race 1
#3. Intellectual @ $2.30 – Unraced but trials leading into this have been exceptional running good time. Think he has a fair bit of ability and just needs to overcome the wide draw.
Race 5
#4. Anthracite @ $1.95 – Looks to have plenty of ability this horse winning by over 6L last start at the short price. Maps well again and looks hard to beat.
Race 9
#19. Streetcar Fury @ $5 – Excellent first up win before a failed second start before the spell. Trial leading into this looked good, and think he should be much shorter here.
