Our NRL SuperCoach Round 13 team analysis breaks down team list changes, cash cows, trade targets and key insights for every game.

Sharks vs Sea Eagles – Friday 8:00PM at Ocean Protect Stadium

Sharks

Nicho Hynes will miss this game due to a calf injury, which sees Niwhai Puru come in at halfback. Brailey, Fonua-Blake and Nikora have all been named to start, however they are all on Origin duty so will depend on how they pull up.

Sea Eagles

Olakau’atu and Koula are named on the reserves due to Origin duty. Hopoate returns from suspension, while Ben Trbojevic has been cleared after he successfully had his HIA category downgraded.

SuperCoach Analysis

Hynes being out is a dagger for owners, however I would still be looking to hold for this week at least until we get some more news.

Faulalo has been in great form at fullback, though is hard to recommend at $643k with Trobjevic due back in the coming weeks.

Knights vs Eels – Saturday 3:00PM at McDonald Jones Stadium

Knights

Jacob Saifiti & Kalyn Ponga have been named to back up from Origin, though I am unsure if that actually happens.

Eels

Isaiah Iongi returns for Parra, with Joash Papalii moving to #6 and Volkman to #7 after Moses was ruled out with a hamstring injury. Kautoga returns in the back row. Paulo has been ruled out for 8 weeks, which sees Jack Williams move to prop.

SuperCoach Analysis

Marzhew, Lucas, Sharpe & Ponga are all of interest at the Knights while Ponga is fit. Sharpe feels like a no brainer at $512k

Parra are decimated, making it very hard to recommend anyone. Jack Williams might become an option with the news Paulo is set to spend an extended period on the pine.

Wests Tigers vs Bulldogs – Saturday 5:30PM at CommBank Stadium

Wests Tigers

Jahream Bula, Api Korisau, Alex Twal and Haemasi Makasini all return for the Tigers. Faaletino Tavana comes onto the wing for Luke Laulilii. Taylan May has avoided shoulder surgery but will still miss around 5 weeks.

Bulldogs

Kiraz retains the fullback jersey, though Tracey is lurking among the reserves. Jacob Preston has a fractured forearm, which sees Jaeman Salmon move to the edge. Stephen Crichton has been named on the extended bench and will be a late decision after Origin commitments.

SuperCoach Analysis

May, Pearce-Paul & Twal are all excellent buys this week with the Tigers awesome bye coverage if you don’t already own them.

Kiraz is a steal at $612k, racking up almost 90 in base power last week on his return from injury.

Storm vs Roosters – Saturday 7:35PM at AAMI Park

Storm

Munster, Grant and Loiero have all been named despite Origin duty. Unless there are niggles, I would expect all to play considering the Storm’s current ladder predicament. Alex Macdonald replaces Shawn Blore on an edge due to concussion protocols.

Roosters

Billy Smith returns on the wing, with Daniel Tupou out with a calf injury. Tedesco, Robson, Toia, Walker, Radley and Collins have all been named to back up from Origin, however I would expect a few to be rested. Cody Ramsey has been named on the wing, and is expected to play fullback should Tedesco be ruled out. Connor Watson shifts back to the bench.

SuperCoach Analysis

Moses Leo has a BE of -47 thanks to some big performances, including an impressive 114 last week that included 60 in base power. At $370k, he can be considered if you think he can maintain this level of output. I have already sold this season, so won’t be looking to get him. While not for me, Hughes will be very popular at his price, considering the current issues around Cleary, Hynes, Campbell & Doueihi.

Ramsey is a potential downgrade target at $252k and a BE of -27. You would expect him to get a few games around the Origin period as a minimum. After missing out on Origin selection, Angus Crichton should have a point to prove. He is cheap enough at $544k for those who wish to take a punt.

Broncos vs Dragons – Sunday 2:00PM at Suncorp Stadium

Broncos

Payne Haas has been named to return after being missing through injury since Round 7. Staggs, Mam, Shibasaki and Carrigan have all been named to back up from Origin. Brendan Piaukura returns to the starting side and will partner Willison on an edge.

Dragons

Moses Suli and Jacob Liddle return, however Tuipulotu, Su’A and Buchanan are all out injured. Feagai comes onto the wing.

SuperCoach Analysis

There is some mail around that Walsh ruled himself out of Origin due to not being 100% after his recent facial injury. Despite this, he is priced at $603k and has the Dragons and Titans as his next two games. I am all over him. Haas will be very cheap soon, however is a wait and see pending how he returns and likely Origin selection for Game 2.

As a Parra fan, I am so jealous of the Dragons forward pack. Both Couchman brothers and Dylan Egan are awesome to watch and get through a ton of work and are fantasy relevant as a result. Most will have bought Toby last week, and Ryan is already high owned. Egan is one to watch from Round 16. Val Holmes is priced at $481k, but I need to see something from him and the Dragons before I can go there.

Raiders vs Cowboys – Sunday 4:05PM at GIO Stadium

Raiders

Ethan Strange and Hudson Young have been named to back up. Daine Laurie starts at lock. Seb Kris returns at centre.

Cowboys

Reuben Cotter has been named to back up. Jason Taumololo slides to prop and Lodge to the bench. Taulagi returns from concussion and starts on the wing.

Supercoach Analysis

Tamale, Horsburgh & Tapine all provide great coverage over the bye period and can be considered, pending team makeup.

Tom Chester continues to get it done and is now averaging over 70. Drinkwater unfortunately does not cover Rounds 15 or 18, otherwise I would be recommending him.

Panthers vs Warriors – Sunday 6:15PM at CommBank Stadium

Panthers

Cleary, Yeo, McLean and To’o have all been named on the reserves due to Origin duty. Liam Martin returns on an edge, while Tago and Garner have been named at centre. Cogger will play halfback unless Cleary is a late inclusion.

Warriors

Pompey comes into the centres with Tuivasa-Sheck ruled out for the rest of 2026 with an ACL rupture. Luke Metcalf is named on the reserves, so could be a late inclusion for Te Maire Martin.

Supercoach Analysis

This game being on last will be a nightmare for owners, as we won’t have confirmation who is playing until late in the week. I love Tom Jenkins as a buy this week at $625k. We know how big his ceiling is and he has now bottomed out. Origin stars are a wait and see for now.

If Metcalf is not a late inclusion, Te Maire Martin is a no brainer purchase. Jackson Ford is still a weapon and should be in all teams.
