Morphettville
Race 4
#8. Hajara @ $3.80 – Has been racing only fairly this prep, but loved her win two starts ago at this track and distance. Forgiving her last start down the straight and maps for a lovely run here.
Race 6
#5. Tropical House @ $2.60 – Just didn’t go a yard on the heavy last start and forgiving that run. Think she’s the best horse in this race and can cross and lead this field from the wide barrier.
Race 8
#6. Nurys @ $5 – Running super this prep and only went down narrowly last start in a three way finish. Likes the wet, draws to settle closer, and should be in the finish.
Moonee Valley
Race 1
#6. Navy King @ $8 – Getting better each start this prep and set to peak here at the 2040m. Maps to lead this field from barrier 3 and be hard to run down.
Race 2
#9. Roaring Engine @ $16 – Didn’t threaten last start but drops back in grade here and think he’s well over the odds. Like the step back in distance, and maps for the gun run leaders back.
Race 4
#1. Mornington Glory @ $3 – Lot to like about this horse today. Solid first up, loves the 1000m (5 wins from 5 starts), and absolutely flies at the Valley. Brings a class edge here.
Race 6
#11. Esha @ $2.20 – Couldn’t have been more impressive in her maiden win last prep albeit on the best part of the track. Jumpouts leading into this have been super and think she’s got a lot of ability.
