#9. Scintillation @ $1.90 – Tackles older horses first-up but the trials have been sharp and she maps to get the right run from the draw. Looks a suitable race to kick off.
Race 5
#3. Hush Hush @ $2.30 – Strong fresh win at Kembla and has been well supported early here. Drawn to get a good run and looks capable of taking another step.
Gawler
Race 1
#4. Oui Oui Ma Cherie @ $2 – Broke through easily last week and did it with something in hand. Stays at peak fitness on the quick turnaround and this isn’t much tougher.
Race 2
#11. Torrita @ $2.50 – Back to her best last start chasing home Orlova. Similar race here and the gear tweak to visors could help.
Race 6
#2. Raymond’s Reward @ $7 – Ignore the dirt run last time. Form prior was sound and he looks well weighted here. Can roll forward and give a sight.
Doomben
Race 3
#1. Williamtheconqueror @ $3.20 – Showed ability in his first prep and looks improved this time in. Gelded over the break and the recent trial was strong. Draws inside and gets his chance.
Race 7
#13. The Wheelbarrow @ $3.30 – Lightly raced with upside. Finished off well fresh then produced a strong run last start. Step up in trip suits. Gate is the obvious hurdle but still one of the main hopes.
