Eagle Farm
Race 2
#2. Transatlantic @ $2.30 – Tough last start and looks the winner in this on the seven-day back up.
#6. Tenzing @ $14 – Maintaining form deep in his prep. May prefer a bit more give but last two start ratings have it within a couple of lengths of fav.
Race 5
#6. Manhood @ $9.50 – Last start winner who just needs to repeat that rating. Form prior is also solid.
#9. Appin Girl @ $15 – Started fav last start behind Manhood, where it lost a plate. Can bounce back and would expect to shorten.
#11. I Am Artie @ $13 – Won six races last prep and was wide last start. First up run was OK, and I would expect to bounce back to form here.
Race 7
#8. Abounding @ $10 – Wide or held up last five runs. Has fitness benefit on some of these. Will run well and will go close to winning.
#2. Konasana @ $16 – First up off a couple of Group wins last prep and Nash on. Was OK first up last time and if it repeats, can figure.
Race 8
#7. War Machine @ $3.40 – Dominant winner last start on the up. Have closer to even money and looks a good bet.
#20. Transatlantic @ $21 – Tough last start and if it gets a run, can challenge the fav.
#23. Warnie @ $26 – Great run last week and looks ideally suited in this race. Needs a miracle to get a run however.
Rosehill
Race 6
#5. Little Cointreau @ $5 – Best ratings in this race. Started fav last time but proved difficult to ride out. Parr should assist.
#9. Interjection @ $14 – Rated well in a listed race three back. Excuses last two and can be competitive this grade.
Race 7
#3. Spanish Fox @ $15 – In the market first up on the Heavy. Improved second up and ready to peak.
#8. Crafty Eagle @ $23.5 – Slowly away both runs this prep. Just needs to replicate first up rating to be in this.
Sandown
Race 6
#5. Roadcone @ $2.70 – Winner last start dropping down in grade. These horses tend to rate better with more weight. Good bet.
#9. Chakado @ $14 – Hard to rate coming off two Cranbourne wins. Hard to knock form so happy to cover off.
Race 9
#12. Hughes @ $4.80 – Won three from five this prep and can win again. Will appreciate a fast tempo up in grade.
