Race 2 – 1. Johnny The Kid @$2.00
Johnny The Kid was produced off a three week break when he stuck to his task in defeat at Warwick Farm. It should be noted that blinkers have now been added to his gear and a quicker back-up will aid his cause today.
Race 7 – 5. Rock Empire @$2.80
Rock Empire did a terrific job fresh off the back fo a long lay off. He has been given 21 days to get over that run and looks very well placed here second up. That form around Yorkshire reads exceptionally well.
Balaklava
Race 2 – 7. Peta’s Heart @$2.60
Not much depth to this race. Peta’s Heart kept finding the line on debut here and will be better for the experience. She rises to the mile which should suit her.
Belmont
Race 5 – 6. Millstee @$11.00
Millstee finds a fantastic race SU. FU got a long way back and hit the line in the worst part of the track in a strong race. Brings papavero princess, Bondi plunge and influencing form from last prep that stacks up really well. Draws a gate, like the jock booking and has winkers reattached that she raced in most of last prep.
Race 6 – 2. Centre Bond @$2.90
Centre bond thought should be favourite. Looks to have stacks of ability and the FU run was a ripper weaving through them which isn’t his go. SU last prep he bolted in a maiden before a credible run against Saturday 3yos. Draws better, 1400 suits, like him going forward.
