#8. Wootton Lass @ $7.50 – The trials leading into the first up run were superb and looked like she had a lot of ability. Failed first up but there were excuses, and this race is a lot easier than last start. From the wide barrier, think she has the pace to cross and lead this field, and there will be intent with the booking of Nash.
#2. Ballroom Bella @ $4.00 – Have part ownership in this horse so call it owners bias, but think this is more than winnable for her today. Has had breathing issues throughout her whole career, and stable are confident they’ve now cleared those up. She’s always had ability, and if she can race to that standard, she’s a huge winning chance here.

#7. Altermatum @ $6.00 – Hit the line well last start to get the win in maiden grade and think she can improve off that. Step up to 1400m third up looks perfect, and her run last start suggests the 1400m will be no issue. Draws barrier 6 to sit a couple pairs back in the running line and get every crack at them.
