Warwick Farm
Race 7
#11. Secure @ $3.50 – Think the gelding did the trick for this horse who was super first up and breaking his maiden. Love that Nash sticks, and the step up to the 1300m suits. Second favourite looks far too short.
Eagle Farm
Race 2
#2. Starsonus @ $2.60 – The run two starts back was excellent and just got caught too wide last start. Slightly sticky gate here but if Maloney can slot in the running line with some luck, he goes very close.
Oakbank
Race 1
#10. Ciealao @ $2.40 – Loved that last start run when stepping up in distance and going down narrowly on the line. Looks to have more ability in a race of nonnies, and should lead this field from barrier 4 and be very hard to run down.
Race 3
#7. Gin Rummy @ $2 – Brings some really strong form lines into this race with runners with not a lot of ability. If he runs up to that standard, looks very hard to beat here. Hoping Potter rides a bit closer here and if he has luck in running, can’t see how he loses.
