#4. Losesomewinmore @ $4.40 (neds) – Genuine Flemington straight-track specialist with an excellent turn of foot. Freshened specifically for this race and looks well placed.

#4. Punch Lane @ $6 / $2.15 EW (neds) – Backs up quickly, a pattern that has produced some of his best performances. Strong record on the 7 day turnaround and looks capable of another big run.

#1. Red Defcon @ $23 / $5 EW (neds) – Has been tackling stronger company than this and brings the class edge. Big weight is the query, but she’s capable of charging home at big odds.

#16. Balance The Books @ $3 (neds) – Better ground could be the key after a luckless preparation. Draw isn’t ideal but Thompson takes the ride and she’s good enough to bounce back.

#6. Harsh @ $3.20 (neds) – Had excuses before a dominant win last start and looks suited again stepping onto a testing track. Continues to improve and should be hard to beat.

#6. Orlova @ $3.90 (neds) – Finished strongly behind a smart filly last start and looks well suited with a light weight. Best ridden quietly before producing her late sprint.

#12. No Mans Land @ $8 / $2.90 EW (neds) – Promising galloper with upside who had little luck last start. The spacious Morphettville track should suit and he looks over the odds.
