Race 4
#5. Central Europe @ $2.25 (neds) – Strong debut when unlucky at a key stage before charging home once clear. Comes out of the same race as Warwoven and should improve again off that run. Progressive type who looks hard to beat.
Race 6
#3. Flying For Fun @ $8 / $2.70 (neds) – Has looked excellent in the lead-up trials and was a winner over this track and trip before going to the paddock. If he returns in similar order he’s a genuine each-way play.
Race 8
#12. Shohisha @ $20 / $5 (neds) – Appeals as a value runner. Battled on well first-up despite racing in inferior ground and drops in well at the weights. Worth an each-way look at the odds.
Caulfield
Race 1
#1. Foujita San @ $4.20 (neds) – Very good first run for the new stable when finishing strongly over 2000m at Flemington. That race had depth and he should be even better second-up. Likely to settle closer this time and looks a major chance.
Race 5
#2. Rohesia @ $8 / $2.20 (neds) – Didn’t have much go right in the Inglis Sprint but still finished strongly. Back into easier company here and should be nearing peak fitness third-up. Each-way value.
Race 6
#7. Zeshadow @ $11 / $3.30 (neds) – Hit the line strongly first-up after being held up, then went on with it second-up. Drops weight here and may settle a touch closer in the run. Looks over the odds.
Race 9
#12. Salty Pearl @ $2.60 (neds) – Huge run last start when the track pattern worked against her. Blinkers go back on and she maps to get a perfect run just behind the speed. Looks ideally placed fourth-up.
Race 10
#1. Jigsaw @ $3.30 (neds) – In outstanding form with four straight wins, including Group 1 success in New Zealand. Likely leader again and trialled well between runs. Carries the weight but clearly the one they have to beat.
Morphettville
Race 2
#5. Sir Myka @ $3.10 (neds) – Solid in both runs this prep and was runner-up to a smart one last start. Step up to 1250m suits and the inside draw should allow him to settle closer to the speed.
Race 5
#7. Bristler @ $5 (neds) – Has been racing consistently and the race shape looks favourable here. Drawn inside some of the other speed and drops nicely in the weights with the claim.
Race 6
#5. Ramasis @ $2.80 (neds) – Has been excellent in both career starts, unlucky on debut before winning comfortably last time. Steps to 1400m but should enjoy a soft run on speed and looks the horse to beat.

Race 1
#7. First Mission @ $4.40 (neds) – Well-bred type who looks to have plenty of upside this prep. Trialled nicely and draws well. If the tempo is genuine he should be finishing off strongly.
Race 4
#12. Heavenly Impact @ $12 / $3.50 (neds) – Knocking on the door and has recorded the fastest late splits in several recent runs. Tactics didn’t help last time but a better run in transit here could see him surprise at odds.
Race 9
#5. Exotique Miss @ $6.50 / $2.30 (neds) – Showed she needed the run first-up when weakening late after looming. Gets a senior rider now, draws well and maps for a nice run. Hard to beat if she brings her best.
