#3. Sword Of Legacy @ $2.80 (neds) – Impressed with a strong win in a quality three-year-old race last start and looks a filly with plenty of upside. Draws to get the right run and can make it back-to-back wins.

#8. Franz Josef @ $6.50 / $2.50 EW (neds) – Returns from a long spell but has trialled impressively leading in. A talented galloper who relishes wet ground and can make his presence felt if ready to fire first-up.
Flemington
Race 4
#3. Davida @ $7 / $2.45 EW (neds) – Can improve sharply if ridden more positively after settling too far back last start. Expected to use the good draw and take catching.
Race 7
#3. Royal Insignia @ $11 / $3.30 EW (neds) – Never suited by the slow tempo last start and gets a more favourable setup here. The claim only strengthens his chances at good odds.
Race 8
#12. Think Giant @ $3.10 (neds) – Finished off well on Australian debut and looks suited rising to 2000m. Drops nicely in the weights and has plenty of upside.
Race 9
#11. Street Artist @ $3.70 (neds) – Forgive the latest effort after settling too far back on a day that favoured on-speed runners. Blinkers go on, the straight track suits and he looks the one to beat.
Doomben
Race 2
#6. Moonan Quartz @ $2.60 (neds) – Has returned in outstanding form with two dominant wins this preparation. Draws well, gets the claim and looks the horse to beat again.
Race 3
#5. Fire Bomber @ $4.50 (neds) – Has put together a consistent campaign and wasn’t far away in a stronger race last start. The drop back to 1200m is the only query, but the inside draw gives him every chance.
Morphettville
Race 2
#5. Street Legal @ $2.15 (neds) – Has been racing consistently without much luck and covered extra ground last start. A kinder run in transit can see him go one better.
Race 3
#10. Maldivica @ $6.50 / $2.25 EW (neds) – Hit the line well last week and has the fitness edge over many of these. Maps to get the right run and rarely puts in a poor performance.
Race 6
#7. Brevitas @ $4 (neds) – Racing well this campaign and was unlucky not to win at this level last start. With even luck in running, she’ll be hard to hold out over 1400m.
