#5. Nobler @ $3.60 (neds) – Continues to do everything right and keeps finding a way to win. The rise to 2000m looks ideal and there’s little reason to think he won’t be right in the finish again.
Race 7
#16. Big Papa @ $3.70 (neds) – Had little luck fresh over an unsuitable trip and looks much better suited stepping up to 1300m. Gets in well at the weights and should improve sharply.
Sandown
Race 1
#7. Stars Of Dom @ $2.50 (neds) – Closed off nicely on debut behind a handy winner and race experience should hold her in good stead. Looks capable of taking another step forward.
Race 3
#6. Oraqua @ $7 / $2.40 EW (neds) – Forgive the last run where she raced on inferior ground. Third-up now and looks ready to peak after two solid runs this preparation.
Race 5
#9. Boltsaver @ $10 / $2.40 (neds) – Genuine tempo should suit and he gets in lighter at the weights despite the rise in grade. Has been around the mark all prep and gets another chance to break through.
Race 6
#15. Cicala @ $3.70 (neds) – Talented mare who won four of five in her first campaign. Recent trial was excellent and she has already shown she handles wet conditions.
Race 7
#5. Simurgh @ $3.80 (neds) – Lightly raced stayer with plenty of upside. Two strong wins at 2000m suggest the rise in trip will suit and there looks more improvement to come.
Race 8
#8. Makdane @ $3.90 (neds) – Never got the race run to suit last start and returns to conditions he enjoys. Proven wet tracker who should get a soft run near the speed.
Race 9
#4. Lovelycut @ $6.50 / $2.60 EW (neds) – Returned to form last start and gets gear changes to help her finish off straighter. Wide draw shouldn’t be an issue late in the day.
Eagle Farm
Race 3
#7. Bella Montagna @ $2.40 (neds) – Has been building nicely all preparation and looks ready to peak fourth-up. Meets a key rival better at the weights and should relish any rain.
Race 6
#8. She’s Got Pizzazz @ $6.50 / $2.50 EW (neds) – Racing in terrific form with strong late sectionals at her past couple. Handles all conditions and gets every chance with Zahra sticking aboard.
Race 7
#4. Tron Bolt @ $2.05 (neds) – Strong winner in Sydney last start and looks suited stepping up to the mile. J-Mac takes the ride and he appears to have plenty more upside.
Murray Bridge
Race 3
#3. Like A Drifter @ $2.30 (neds) – Has returned a much-improved horse this prep and remains unbeaten in three runs. Latest win was full of merit and he looks the one to beat again.
Race 4
#3. Tobikko @ $2.30 (neds) – Promising youngster who worked home well first-up behind Like A Drifter. Should strip fitter and looks capable of improving further.
Race 7
#3. Naralinga @ $6 / $2.35 (neds) – Dominant on a wet track last start and continues to race consistently. If conditions suit again, he can make his presence felt late.
