Rosehill
Race 5
#4. Hello Captain @ $1.80 (neds) – Unlucky not to make it three straight wins last start after a luckless defeat. Maps well again and gets in nicely at the weights with the claim
Race 8
#12. Smashing Time @ $2.35 (neds) – Racing in outstanding form and drops significantly in weight despite the rise in grade. Looks capable of extending the winning run.
Flemington
Race 1
#4. Stars Of Dom @ $2 (neds) – Chased home a smart winner at Sandown and the rise to 1200m looks ideal. Small field should allow her every chance.
Race 4
#14. Kings Reflection @ $2.90 (neds) – Hit the line strongly behind Decalogue last start and now meets that rival much better at the weights. Better draw should see him settle closer.
Sunshine Coast
Race 6
#10. Within The Law @ $2.45 (neds) – Looks ready for the rise to a mile after tackling stronger company. Has a powerful finish and the quick back-up shouldn’t pose any concerns.
Race 8
#21. Arabian Rose @ $12 / $3.90 EW (neds) – Forgive the heavy-track run last start after an outstanding first-up win. Loves this track and has an excellent record here.
Murray Bridge
Race 1
#14. Word Game @ $2.50 (neds) – Produced a solid effort in a strong race last start and should now be at peak fitness. Expected to handle the conditions and be in the finish.
Race 6
#9. Maxildo @ $6 / $2.30 EW (neds) – Racing consistently and should enjoy a genuine tempo on speed. Heavy ground suits and the claim leaves him well weighted.
Race 7
#8. Like A Drifter @ $2 (neds) – Has been in terrific form all preparation and remains well placed in this grade. Maps to get every chance and will take plenty of beating if he holds that level.
