Sharks vs Dragons – Thursday 7:50PM (AEDT) at Sharks Stadium
Sharks
Mawene Hiroti moves to centre to replace KL Iro who is out with a pec injury. Ronaldo Mulitalo returns from suspension in his usual spot on the left wing.
Dragons
Corey Allan comes into the centres, replacing Val Holmes who is on Origin duty. Tyrell Sloan has been recalled to replace Christian Tuipulotu who is again out with a hamstring injury. Emre Guler & Luciano Leilua come into the starting side at prop and second row, respectively.
SuperCoach Analysis
Not a heap of Supercoach interest at the Sharks this year (compared to previous seasons). Nicho Hynes is still a top 2-3 option at halfback and can be bought pending your team makeup. Outside of that, I only have interest in McInnes & Addin Fonua-Blake.
Nathan Lawson has been named to play his 3rd game this week and will make a little bit of cash for owners, however there is no rush to purchase unless you need to free up cash with a warm body this week to cover both the big bye rounds remaining. King-Togia is still cheap enough to consider for Origin coverage.
Titans vs Sea Eagles – Friday 8:00PM (AEDT) at Cbus Super Stadium
Titans
A few forced changes for the Titans with players away in Origin camp. Tino Fa’asuamaleaui is replaced by Klese Haas at lock, while Iszac Fa’asuamaleaui, Tuki Simpkins and Josh Patston come onto the bench. Sam Verrills has been named on the reserves, however is still recovering from hand surgery so it remains to be seen whether he will be included.
Sea Eagles
Tom Trbojevic has been named to return this week, along with Jason Saab. Lehi Hopoate is out due to concussion protocols, with Clayton Faulalo the other man to make way. Siua Taukeiaho returns in the front row, which sees Jazz Tevaga return to the bench. Keep an eye on game day team lists to see if there are any changes in the pack.
SuperCoach Analysis
Tino is currently dealing with a sternum injury, which historically has shown to lead to reduced output from forwards. If you have over 20 trades remaining or are edging close to your final team, I can understand selling with a view to buying back cheaper post injury. If not, I think he is better to just hold. Beau Fermor has missed selection so comes into consideration for teams as he covers the bye round this week and can form a two part double act with Dylan Lucas adding flexibility to your 2RF/CTW slots. I still think Jayden Campbell is a top 2 5/8 this season so grab him this week if you are interested.
I can’t recommend that anyone buy Tom Trbojevic, even despite covering both remaining major bye rounds. I reluctantly held as I had more pressing trades to make, however if I didn’t own I would be looking to keep it that way. Reuben Garrick & Haumole Olakau’atu are no brainer purchases this week, while you can consider Daly Cherry-Evans now he has missed out on Origin duty. He should have a point to prove and has an excellent fixture this week. At $461,000, I don’t think you can go too wrong.
Knights vs Roosters – Saturday 5:30PM (AEDT) at McDonald Jones Stadium
Knights
Fletcher Sharpe returns to the familiar fullback position while Kalyn Ponga is in Origin camp. Jackson Hastings comes into the starting side in the #6 jersey, while Mat Croker has been named to start in the front row. Tyson Frizell is out due to concussion protocols.
Roosters
Sam Walker has been named to start this week, which sees Sandon Smith move to the bench. Dom Young comes in on the wing, with Mark Nawaqanitawase moving to centre to cover Robert Toia. Naufahu Whyte & Nat Butcher are both back from injury, while Egan Butcher starts in place of Angus Crichton.
SuperCoach Analysis
Fletcher Sharpe just keeps finding a way to get it done, racking up points no matter where he plays. Greg Marzhew is the one man I am somewhat keen on this week, with a 3RA of of 67 which involves only one try assist. Everyone should already own Dylan Lucas, so I won’t keep banging on about him.
Sam Walker returns, however I am unsure if he will kick goals. If he was set to kick, I would have expected to see him kick goals in NSW Cup on his return, however he didn’t. Neither scenario would really shock me, however don’t be surprised if we see Hugo Savala take over the goal kicking. James Tedesco & Mark Nawaqanitawase are the main targets from the Roosters, as they will cover both major bye rounds to come.
Cowboys vs Dolphins – Saturday 7:35PM (AEDT) at Queensland Country Bank Stadium
Cowboys
Tom Dearden, Jeremiah Nanai, Reece Robson & Reuben Cotter all miss this clash due to Origin duty, while John Bateman and Viliami Vailea are both out with suspension. This sees a multitude of changes for the Cowboys. Taulagi, O’Donnell & Taumololo all return from injury, while Braidon Burns, Jake Clifford, Thomas Mikaele and Kaiden Lahrs have also been named.
Dolphins
Jake Averillo moves to fullback, replacing Tabui-Fidow who is on Origin duty. Ray Stone returns from injury, replacing Max Plath who is reportedly expected to miss the rest of 2025 with an ACL injury.
SuperCoach Analysis
Outside of Scott Drinkwater, there is minimal Supercoach interest in this Origin depleted Cowboys side.
Jamayne Isaako will be a popular buy this week. He is coming off a score of 132 last week and will make cash with a BE of -6 and is now averaging 65.3 so is a low end CTW keeper. To add to this, the Phins have some very juicy fixtures to come in the next few weeks, including a depleted Cowboys, as well as the Knights & Rabbitohs. I do have some interest in Jeremy Marshall-King, however I would prefer to see how Kurt Donoghoe is used in their rotation before committing to a purchase. Herbie Farnworth is a must own – buy him.
Rabbitohs vs Bulldogs – Sunday 4:05PM (AEDT) at Accor Stadium
Rabbitohs
Jye Gray again fills in at fullback for Latrell Mitchell, who is with NSW in Origin camp. Cody Walker is again out with a calf injury, which sees Jayden Sullivan move to five-eighth and Jamie Humphreys play halfback. Campbell Graham is listed on the reserves and could be a late inclusion if he is able to overcome the back spasms that kept him out last week.
Bulldogs
Lachlan Galvin starts in the #6 jersey with Matt Burton being called into NSW camp as 18th man. Jacob Kiraz moves to centre to cover Stephen Crichton, with Blake Wilson coming onto the wing. Josh Curran moves to the front row, covering Max King, while Jacob Preston returns from suspension in the back row. Jake Turpin & Kurt Morrin come onto the bench.
SuperCoach Analysis
Keaon Koloamatangi continues to pump out mammoth scores, playing huge mins through the middle. Bennett mentioned weeks ago it wouldn’t continue, but so far it has. Very minimal interest in Euan Aitken, however it is slim pickings for Supercoach relevance outside that.
Jacob Kiraz is a must own player regardless of where he is playing. He is averaging 82.6 and is coming off a 90 vs the Eels which included 6 tackles, 6 tackle busts, 7 offloads and a whopping 21 runs (which amassed 39 Supercoach points). This adds up to a total base power score of 83 which is insane. That is far more than most forwards produce. If you are a Matt Burton owner like myself, you can consider yourself unlucky as he now misses this game. Jacob Preston is a keeper in the back row and is an excellent POD option at only 5% ownership.
