Check out our team list analysis for Round 22!

Eels vs Storm – Thursday 7.50PM at CommBank Stadium

Eels

Eels are 1-17. Tuilagi is available for selection again after suspension, however has only made the extended squad.

Storm

Ryan Papenhuyzen has returned after missing 4 games through calf “tightness”. Cameron Munster returns and will partner Tyran Wishart in the halves after Jahrome Hughes has been ruled out with a shoulder injury. Nick Meaney returns to centre, with Grant Anderson returning to the wing. Trent Loiero has been rested, which sees Tui Kamikamica starting in his place.

SuperCoach Analysis

Lomax continues to be a Supercoach stud, however I have minimal interest in the Eels outside of him.

Ryan Papenhuyzen has been named to return, however he is very hard to recommend due to his injury history and doubt around him goalkicking moving forward. The Hughes injury opens up a spot in the halves for Tyran Wishart, who is just a genuine footballer and seems to do a job wherever he plays. At $316,500 and being dual position, I can certainly see the appeal. I have made the decision to trade in Harry Grant this week – with Hughes getting injured he is likely to be more involved with the playmaking which has to bode well for his Supercoach output. Controversial option, but you could anti-POD Eli Katoa. He has a BE of 146 and has lost his halfback. At 47% ownership, huge risk vs huge reward if you back his poor scoring to continue.

Warriors vs Dolphins – Friday 6.00PM at Go Media Stadium

Warriors

Chanel Harris-Tavita is out with a calf injury, so Te Maire Martin gets his chance in the #6 jersey. Demetric Vaimauga starts in the front row with James Fisher-Harris set to miss the next two weeks with a calf injury. Wayde Egan misses this week through concussion protocols, giving Samuel Healey another opportunity to show what he can do at Hooker. Taine Tuapiki comes onto the bench.

Dolphins

Kodi Nikorima has returned from a hamstring injury ahead of schedule, moving Jake Averillo to the wing. Felise Kaufusi and Mark Nicholls come back into the 17 after an injury and concussion respectively.

SuperCoach Analysis

Tuivasa-Sheck and Erin Clarke are the main Supercoach options at the Wahs this year. Vaimauga has the potential to be a really good option in the front row if he can get decent mins, considering he has scored at over 1PPM in every game this season and knows how to find the try line. He is a great pickup in draft this week.

Herbie Farnworth and Isaiya Katoa are my main targets from the Dolphins. They have a favourable H2H finals schedule, with matchups against the Broncos, Manly & then the Titans in the Grand Final (R26).

Broncos vs Rabbitohs – Friday 8.00PM at Suncorp Stadium

Broncos

Selwyn Cobbo returns to first grade along with Deine Mariner after Madge has decided to swing the axe on Josiah Karapani & Jesse Arthars.

Rabbitohs

Jack Wighton has been named at 5/8, however he will need to escape suspension at the judiciary to play. Bentley-Hape returns from injury to take a spot on the wing, while Jamie Humphreys comes back into the side at halfback. Jai Arrow moves to prop to cover the injured Tavita Tatola, which sees Jacob Host start in the back row.

SuperCoach Analysis

The Broncos have a great run home with three games at Suncorp, and fixtures against Souths, Dolphins, Knights and Cowboys. If you like a narrative, the Selwyn Cobbo redemption arc might be off to an explosive start against a decimated and underperforming South Sydney. Payne Haas is obviously a must have, and I could make a case for Pat Carrigan with all the recent injuries in the forwards.

The only Supercoach relevance the Rabbitohs have is targeting players from their opposition in the run home.

Titans vs Panthers – Saturday 3.00PM (AEST) at Cbus Super Stadium

Titans

Sam Verrills is back in the side after missing last week for the birth of his child. Chris Randall is out due to concussion protocols.

Panthers

Liam Martin has been named to start after coming off the bench last week, which sees Isaiah Papali’i move back to the bench.

SuperCoach Analysis

Jayden Campbell is a top 2 5/8, while I could also make a case for Beau Fermor considering the recent injuries to highly owner players like Koloamatangi, Olakau’atu and Fa’asuamaleaui.

The Panthers are stacked with Supercoach relevance yet again. Edwards, Jenkins, McLean, To’o, Talagi, Cleary, Smith & Yeo all wouldn’t look out of place in Supercoach sides for the run home. Their finals run is very tough, however they are a quality side and capable of beating any team in the NRL. Isaah Yeo is $545,400 after having his mins managed over the Origin period. He is as close to safe points as possible in 2RF.

Dragons vs Raiders – Saturday 5.30PM at WIN Stadium

Dragons

Michael Molo comes into the starting side, replacing the injured Jaydn Su’A. This sees Hame Sele come onto the bench.

Raiders

The very impressive Simi Sasagi moves back to the bench with Seb Kris returning from concussion protocols.

SuperCoach Analysis

No Supercoach interest at the Dragons, unless Jacob Liddle breaks into the starting side.

The Raiders have the bye in Round 24 which is the first week of finals in most head to head comps. For this reason, it is important not to overload your team with too many Raiders. Based on this, I would be looking to run Hudson Young, as well as one of Tapine, Horsburgh or Weekes provided you have the coverage.

Sea Eagles vs Roosters – Saturday 7.35PM at 4 Pines Park

Sea Eagles

Olakau’atu has reinjured his shoulder so Corey Waddell will replace him in the back row. Jake Simpkin returns from concussion protocols, with Tommy Talau joining the bench.

Roosters

Billy Smith and Hugo Savala return to the starting side, while Salesi Foketi and Spencer Leniu named on the bench. Victor Radley is among the reserves as he looks to return from injury either this week or next.

Supercoach Analysis

Manly have a particularly good finals run, with games against the Tigers, Dolphins and Dragons. Tom Trbojevic has strung a few games together again, however based on history he is hard to recommend. Reuben Garrick is a must have, while you could potentially make a claim for Daly Cherry-Evans in a few weeks.

James Tedesco remains the premium Fullback option, with Daniel Tupou, Mark Nawaqanitawase, Connor Watson and Sam Walker all making claims to be in sides for the run home.

Tigers vs Bulldogs – Sunday 2.00PM at CommBank Stadium

Wests Tigers

In welcome news for Tigers fans, Jahream Bula returns from injury at fullback, moving Sunia Turuva back to the wing. Samuela Fainu returns from a knee injury, moving Tony Sukkar back to the bench. Big off season recruit Royce Hunt has been named on the bench.

Bulldogs

Connor Tracey is out for a month which gives Jacob Kiraz an opportunity at fullback. The impressive Jethro Rinakama comes onto the wing.

Supercoach Analysis

Terrell May should be owned by 100% of teams.

Jethro Rinakama is a decent downgrade option considering his -60 BE. It remains to be seen whether the move to fullback is a positive one for Kiraz, as his work rate is already outstanding. There is the potential for him to lose easy attacking stats now he isn’t on the wing, however he is very talented so could flourish in the #1 jersey. Kikau & Preston remain the key targets at the Dogs, though their finals run is certainly less than ideal, with games against the Roosters, Storm & Panthers.

Sharks vs Cowboys – Sunday 4.05PM at Sharks Stadium

Sharks

Talakai and Nikora return after missing last weeks game against South Sydney. Billy Burns moves back to the bench.

Cowboys

Jake Clifford returns in the #7 jersey, which is great news for Cowboys fans considering their great record with him in the team. Karl Lawton is suspended, which gives a debut to Emarly Bitungane.

Supercoach Analysis

With the Sharks missing Round 25, we need to be very selective on how many Sharks to run in the final rounds. I already own Hynes and Talakai so that is who I will be running, however you could make a case for Mulitalo or Nikora as well, provided you can carry them.

Scott Drinkwater, Tom Dearden and Jeremiah Nanai are the targets at the Cowboys.
