Hooker –
Freddy Lussick 1.9% ownership
Will be the starting hooker for the foreseeable future after the injury to Mitch Kenny on the weekend. Don’t expect him to be a world beater; however, he’s going to be far better than some of these other dud options floating around at hooker. He loves to hog the ball and try to crash over from dummy half any chance he gets, which is great for SuperCoach purposes.

FRF –
Xavier Willison – 36.5 ownership
Hopefully, some of you listened and grabbed him last week when he was on the list, and his stocks have only risen after Payne Haas went down with a knee injury that’ll keep him sidelined for up to 8 weeks. This is the last week to grab him before he’s owned in any comp that has blokes with half a brain. Waiver of the week.

Other alternatives
Taniela Paseka
Tom Gilbert

2RF –
Jeremiah Nanai – 23.6% ownership

It may be a little early, as I think it’ll take him a few weeks to find some match fitness, so I’d ideally stash him on my bench for the time being. Get in early, and he’ll become a great option in a month and some handy trade bait at the very least.

Ryan Couchman – 43.1% ownership
I was keen on Couchman thinking he was going to be coming off the bench but even better he has been named on the edge after Jaydn Su’a was suspended. If he’s available in your league id be all over it.

Other alternatives
Zac Hosking
Siosifa Talakai

Halfback –
Hugo Savala – 46.9% ownership

I was hesitant on Savala last week as Billy Smith on the extended bench made me nervous. After another good performance, he’s retained his spot with Billy Smith on the bench. His dual 5/8 status makes him extremely handy if he does indeed keep this centre spot. Fingers crossed he does.

Other Alternatives
Ronald Volkman

5/8 –
Chanel Harris-Tavita – 47.1% ownership

Have talked enough about CHT over the last two weeks – he should be owned by far more sides. If you need a 5/8 just grab him.
Hugo Savala – 46.9% ownership
see above.

Other alternatives
Luke Brooks – free agent pick-up for a one-week play against Parramatta.

CTW –
Bronson Xerri
– 36.3% ownership
Seems to be back in the good books with Cameron Ciraldo, and so he should be with his performances on the field. Enari Tuala, unfortunately, went down with a hamstring strain, which means Xerri will be playing in the centres for the Dogs for weeks to come at a minimum. Let’s just hope he stays on the left, as it will be better for his SC scores.

Other alternatives
Siosifa Talakai
Alofiana Khan-Pereira

Fullback –
Matthew Dufty – 40.3% ownership

Likely to be your only option if you need a fullback this week. He won’t play the Dragons every week and run for 330m as he did on the weekend, but beggars can’t be choosers.
