Round 11 is here, so lets take a look at popular buys and sells across the Supercoach landscape.
Buy
Lyhkan King-Togia
A great downgrade option to free up some cash. Will gain dual position status as of next week, and will be very handy throughout the mass restings and byes during the Origin period.
Corey Allen
Not a must-have by any means, but a solid downgrade for anyone looking to free up cash and begin loading up on more guns.
Zac Hosking
A great mid-range option who now has the edge spot locked in for the next 12 weeks with Matty Nicholson sidelined. Provides solid bye coverage and has the potential to average big numbers going forward.
Herbie Farnworth
One of my favourite players—and one of my favourite SuperCoach players too. He’s a must-have during the bye period and someone you can confidently sit back and watch rack up points week in and week out. Boasting huge base power stats, he hasn’t scored under 50 all season, which is incredible for a non-goal-kicking CTW. If you own Purdue or Jenkins and are looking to move them on, Herbie is your guy.
Fletcher Sharpe
He’s a bona fide weapon—just makes things happen. Has a low break-even of 8 and plays in the first two big bye rounds. Could also feature at fullback with Ponga likely to miss games due to Origin selection.
Joseph Tapine
It’s the year of the FRF in 2025. In years gone by, it was the position no one wanted to touch—now I want as many as I can get. Tapine is averaging 79.4, has massive base stats, can find the try-line, and plays two of the three big bye rounds. Love him as a buy this week or next.
Hold
Nathan Cleary
I’ll admit I contemplated selling him with the upcoming two-week absence, including the major bye. But have you seen who he plays in rounds 13 and 14? Matchups against Parramatta and the Tigers will be painful to watch as a non-owner. Also unlikely to be rested after Origin, given Penrith’s position on the ladder.
Kalyn Ponga
Give it one more week before jumping ship. Yes, he’s been disappointing—trust me, I captained him last week. But surely he can rack up some points against the Eels to make a statement to Billy Slater before Origin selections.
Thomas Jenkins
If he’s your only viable option to downgrade and bring in someone like Corey Allen, it’s not the end of the world. That said, he should get a run next week with To’o likely to be out through Origin duty.
Sell
Greg Marzhew
Ruled out with injury for up to a month—an easy sell.
Toby Couchman
The quiet achiever of the FRF position has also been ruled out for up to three weeks. A simple upgrade move to bring in someone like Tapine.
Jaxon Purdue
He’s maxed out in price, and the shift to the halves doesn’t bode well for his SuperCoach output. You’ll only need around $100k to jump up to someone like Herbie Farnworth—an absolute no-brainer.
