Our NRL betting tips for Round 13 of the NRL cover every game with best bets, totals and predictions across the full weekend schedule.
Sharks vs Sea Eagles – Ocean Protect Stadium
An important game for the Sharks. If they drop this they are in a vulnerable position and let Manly jump further ahead of them on the ladder. The Sharks Origin players are more likely to back up from State of Origin than the Manly players. Koula is definitely out while Olakauatu could easily be rested after cramping up late Wednesday night. Nicho Hynes is out but Puru should be a reasonable replacement and I think Sharks will get up in the wet at home.
Suggested Bets: Sharks -2.5 @ $2.05 (neds).
Knights vs Eels – McDonald Jones Stadium
A game Newcastle would really expect to win and the odds reflect that. However, Parramatta on their day can cause an upset if their attack fires. Without Mitch Moses this seems less likely. Ponga looks likely to back up in this one so Newcastle will be close to full strength. In saying that the line looks biggish here and it’s not worth a betting play. The one play that does stand out is in the Tryscorer markets with Dylan Brown up against his old club. He’ll have a point to prove and it’s also his 150th NRL game. He seems value here.
Suggested Bet: Dylan Brown ATS @ $3.45 (neds)
Wests Tigers vs Bulldogs – CommBank Stadium
A game the Tigers really need to win to arrest a run of defeats. The Bulldogs won last week but are still unconvincing and the Tigers do get troops back in Bula and Koirasau. The conditions are likely not to be great in this one and I think a wet game would suit the Bulldogs more than the Tigers. With this game being a must win for both clubs I can see defence being the focus so I quite like the Unders here.
Suggested Bet: Total Points Under 48.5 @ $1.90 (neds)
Storm vs Roosters – AAMI Park
A messy game from a betting perspective. There were a number of players over the two sides that were involved in the State of Origin match so it’s hard to tell who will and won’t play. It’s already a tight game according to the betting odds and with doubt as to what the line ups will be this game seems one to leave alone.
Suggested Bet: No bet.
Broncos vs Dragons – Suncorp Stadium
The line seems fairly big at -19.5 but it probably should be. Brisbane really need a win and have Haas back on deck for this as well as most of their spine players fit. You could make a case for betting either side of the 19.5 line but I think the market has got this pretty close and this match seems one to avoid
Suggested Bets: No bet.
Raiders vs Cowboys – GIO Stadium
One game where I expect the few Origin players to all back up. I can understand why Canberra are slight favourites at home but I’m not confident. The Cowboys have been a bogey side for Canberra in recent years. I think the market is pretty close to what it should be here and it’s difficult to find value.
Suggested Bets: Ethan Strange ATS / Hudson Young ATS / Alt Total Points Under 60.5/ Alt Handicap Nth QLD +12.5 @ $25.30 (neds)
Panthers vs Warriors – CommBank Stadium
A much anticipated clash between the top 2 sides in the competition at the moment. There is still some doubt over who will back up in this one as there were a number of important players involved. Given there is some doubt on how the teams will line up I think this one might be another to avoid from a betting perspective but definitely one to watch for a lover of the game.
Suggested Bets: No bet.
