Our NRL betting tips for Round 17 of the NRL cover every game with best bets, totals and predictions across the full weekend schedule.

Eels vs Rabbitohs – CommBank Stadium

Both sides return from the bye looking to build momentum after impressive wins a fortnight ago. Parramatta showed plenty of grit in their upset victory over Canberra, while South Sydney were outstanding in their dominant performance against Brisbane despite still missing Latrell Mitchell. The Rabbitohs will again be without their star fullback, while the Eels receive a timely boost with Mitchell Moses returning for his 250th NRL appearance. Parramatta have consistently competed hard this season and should be capable of keeping this one close.

Suggested Bet: Parramatta +5.5 @ $1.96 (neds)

Titans vs Bulldogs – Cbus Super Stadium

Gold Coast produced one of their best performances of the season against Penrith and will be hoping to carry that confidence into another home fixture. Canterbury continue to find ways to win, although their attack has lacked fluency despite experimenting with Stephen Crichton in the halves. Both teams are capable of defending well for long periods, and with points proving difficult to come by for the Bulldogs in recent weeks, this shapes as a tighter contest.

Suggested Bet: Total Points Under 47.5 @ $1.90 (neds)

Broncos vs Roosters – Suncorp Stadium

Brisbane finally return from the bye looking to end a disappointing six-game losing streak, but they face one of the competition’s form teams. The Roosters were outstanding against Cronulla and continue to build confidence as they cement their place inside the top four. The Broncos have the talent to turn things around, but until they rediscover their consistency it’s difficult to overlook the momentum Sydney have built.

Suggested Bet: No Bet

Dolphins vs Warriors – Suncorp Stadium

This shapes as one of the standout games of the round with both sides capable of producing exciting attacking football. The Dolphins continued their impressive run despite several players backing up from Origin, while the Warriors rediscovered their best form with a convincing second-half performance against North Queensland. Home ground advantage and the Dolphins’ consistency in recent weeks give them a slight edge heading into what should be an entertaining contest.

Suggested Bet: Dolphins -6.5 @ $1.94 (neds)

Cowboys vs Panthers – Queensland Country Bank Stadium

North Queensland showed plenty of fight against the Warriors before fading late, while Penrith will be eager to respond after their upset loss to the Titans. The Cowboys desperately need a victory to stay in touch with the top eight, but the Panthers regain key personnel and remain the competition’s benchmark team. It should be a quality contest, although the current market leaves little room for value.

Suggested Bet: No Bet

Sea Eagles vs Storm – 4 Pines Park

Manly were left frustrated after letting opportunities slip against the Bulldogs, while Melbourne overcame an early deficit to comfortably account for Canberra. The Storm continue to improve with each passing week and rarely miss chances to punish opposition mistakes, but the Sea Eagles are always a dangerous proposition at 4 Pines Park. With both teams genuine finals contenders, this is a difficult game to have a strong betting opinion on.

Suggested Bet: No Bet

Raiders vs Dragons – GIO Stadium

Canberra’s season continues to puzzle, with a talented roster struggling to produce consistent performances each week. The Dragons, meanwhile, pushed Newcastle all the way and appear to be improving despite their position on the ladder. Both teams desperately need the two competition points, but with confidence difficult to gauge on either side, this is another matchup where it’s hard to find clear betting value.

Suggested Bet: No Bet

Knights vs Wests Tigers – McDonald Jones Stadium

Newcastle weren’t at their best against the Dragons but still managed to grind out an important victory, while the Tigers showed patches of promise before falling short against the Dolphins. Back on home soil with Kalyn Ponga leading the way, the Knights will be confident of creating opportunities through their dangerous left edge. If Newcastle can build early pressure, they have the attacking weapons to take control while also creating chances for their strike players out wide.

Suggested Bet: Fletcher Sharpe ATS / Dylan Lucas ATS / Jahream Bula ATS @ $13.06 (neds)

MULTI’S / SGM’S OF THE ROUND

Fletcher Sharpe ATS / Dylan Lucas ATS / Jahream Bula ATS @ $13.06 (neds)

David Fifita ATS / Mark Nawaqanitawase ATS / Hudson Young ATS @ $11.25 (neds)
