Lets take a look at potential VC & C options for Round 25.
There is plenty of rain predicted this weekend, so keep that in mind when selecting captains. It could be a situation where taking some safe points is ideal.
VC Options
Nathan Cleary – Both Penrith and Nathan Cleary are in fine form, and I think the Raiders are starting to soften a little despite their great position on the ladder. Added bonus – it is not expected to rain during the match in Mudgee.
Jayden Campbell – Campbell boasts a 5RA of 82, and comes up against a Warriors side that has copped a few injuries and haven’t been passing the eye test of late. Again, one eye on the weather here as it is not expected to rain on the Gold Coast.
C Options
James Tedesco – Parra were nothing short of abysmal last weekend, and Tedesco is the highest point scorer, with the highest average. The rain worries me a little, but sometimes it is better to not outthink the room and go with the obvious option.
Terrell May – The Cowboys have been very leaky, especially down the middle. Lock big Terrell May in for a big game with plenty of base stats as usual.
