Daine Laurie – 32.7% Ownership
Well, he made me look like a dickhead last week when i put him as my #1 waiver target and he was a late scratching, but I’m doubling down. You can read my article from last week regarding his stats in 80-minute games, if he plays this week he will ton up!
Grant Anderson – 8.1% Ownership
Love this bloke, he’s a weapon and goes well every chance he gets. He appears to have the centre position for the next 4-6 weeks due to Nick Meaney’s injury. Would much prefer Jahrome Hughes not to be out for 2-3 weeks with a broken hand however Wishart is a handy replacement and Melbourne will still put on plenty of points.
Thomas Jenkins – 12.4% Ownership
It looks like Jenkins has won the centre spot with Casey Mclean being named 18th man. He scored 91 points at fullback last week against Melbourne and while i wouldn’t expect scores like that too often, he can fill a hole at CTW and will be plenty of attacking potential going forward playing outside the likes of Nathan Cleary.
Daniel Saifiti – 33.6% Ownership
Saifiti is looking like quite a reliable FRF this season. Playing consistent minutes of 53 minutes per game. Averaging 55 points in base power per game and even showed he’s got some upside with a nice line break to set up a try last week, everything we like in a FRF in the draft world, just someone to get you a consistent 50 points every week and Daniel Saifiti looks like be that guy.
Kodi Nikorima – 26.8% Ownership / Jake Clifford 26.7% Ownership
This is scraping the barrel a little here however I know how much of a wasteland the halves can be for draft. I feel like the Dolphins and the Cowboys can only improve and either of these guys may be able to do a job.
PS I wouldn’t be wasting a top waiver on either of these guys, set the alarm for 5am and get them as a free agent.
WATCHLIST
Alex Johnston – With Latrell only two weeks away from returning its only a matter of time until he’s sending AJ over untouched in the left corner. You will need to keep a close on how he looks after a long injury layoff.
Jaylan de Groot – Word on the street is Keano Kini’s neck injury might be longer than a week or so. If you are a Kini owner id be jumping over this bloke for a handcuff play.
