#2. Daphnes @ $2 – Was smashed in the betting first up when only sound. This race looks easier for her, and maps for complete control from the low draw.
Race 4
#4. Paradoxium @ $2.80 – Great racing debut in the Breeders Plate and loved the two trials leading into this to suggest he’s ready to win today. Maps for the gun run from barrier 4.
Race 6
#3. Spywire @ $2.40 – Loved that first up win over the 1000m and will relish the step up in distance here. Another one with a favourable draw and who will make his own luck on speed.
Sandown
Race 1
#7. Lady Verity @ $2.30 – Excellent win first up and she can win again here today. Looks to be a progressive type and have more ability than these.
Race 8
#19. Watersports @ $6.50 – She should have won first up after being taken back in the field. Can settle much closer here today and cause an upset to the favourite.
Strathalbyn
Race 4
#5. Grinzinger Ace @ 2.40 – On the super quick back up here having raced Sunday. He was excellent in that race, and love that he’s back to his home track here.
Race 6
#3. Rokabye Warrior @ $4 – Comes into this race with rock hard fitness and like that he’s racing at the mile here. Draws well to put himself on speed and be hard to run down.
Race 7
#2. Taking Omaha @ $3.50 – Just got done on the line last start and think the step up to the 1200m now will suit. Will make his own luck on speed and looks well placed here.
Ipswich
Race 2
#5. El Pensador @ $4 – Had no luck in run late last start and can certainly improve here. Is starting to become a frustrating horse to back but has the ability to win this.
Race 5
#2. Tajawal @ $2.20 – Has been running superb since racing in QLD including coming out of some high rating races. This is easier today, and typically produces his best runs third up.
