Golden Slipper Day bets for Rosehill, Caulfield, Morphettville and Eagle Farm. Tips include best bets, value runners and multi’s. Tips posted at 9:00PM Friday 20 March 2026.
Rosehill
Race 2
#1. Campaldino @ $4.60 (neds) – Hit the line strongly to win last start and looks well suited staying at this trip. Strong through the line again and profiles nicely here.
Race 4
#2. Skyhook @ $3.40 (neds) – Has looked sharp in recent trials and maps to get a perfect run. Proven at the track and trip carrying weight and if he brings that level again, he’s the one to beat.
Race 8
#14. Chayan @ $6.50 (neds) – Likely to settle midfield or worse and be saved for one run. Race sets up with tempo and she’ll be charging late if she gets the right run.
Race 9
#10. Bridal Waltz @ $14 / $3.70 (neds) – Tough win first-up and looks well treated at the weights again. Has stable confidence and appeals as a nice each-way play.
Race 10
#10. Inkaruna @ $2.05 (neds) – Very unlucky first-up and arguably should’ve won. Drops in weight and looks ideally placed. Only knock is heavy ground, but trials suggest she’ll handle it.
Caulfield
Race 1
#6. Ka Ying Cheer @ $2.35 (neds) – Draws to settle much closer this time and both runs since arriving have been strong. Looks well placed to go on with it.
Race 2
#1. Flamin Romans @ $6.50 / $2.10 (neds) – Competitive form tying in with Bluestone and gets a weight swing here. Blinkers go back on and he can roll forward and control the race. Good each-way chance.
Race 5
#8. Verdoux @ $2.25 (neds) – In great form and drops sharply in the weights with the claim. Step to 1200m suits and if she lands in the right spot early, she’s hard to beat.
Race 8
#1. Jimmysstar @ $2.30 (neds) – Can’t believe we’re getting black odds about this horse. Arguably best sprinter sprinter in the land who looks well suited at the 1200m first-up compared to the 1000m last prep. Jump-outs have been strong and if he gets clear air from the inside draw, he’s the one to beat.
Race 10
#15. Enamorada @ $3.30 (neds) – Forgive the first-up run, as her second-up win rated well and her recent trial was outstanding. Drops in weight and the tempo should suit from a wide draw.
Morphettville
Race 1
#1. The Speed Machine @ $2.15 (neds) – Looked sharp in jump-outs and showed good early speed. Professional type who should be ready to fire on debut.
Race 5
#3. City Pro @ $3.30 (neds) – Much improved first-up effort when finishing strongly behind two horses who’ve since won. That form reads well and he can go on with it.
Race 7
#4. Cash @ $2.60 (neds) – Forgive the Queensland run, as he bounced back last start with a strong finish behind a smart mare. Draws to settle forward and his local form is solid.
Eagle Farm
Race 3
#1. Weigall Tiger @ $10 / $2.50 (neds) – Had excuses this prep including no luck second-up when he should’ve finished much closer. Strong third-up record and gets weight relief. Each-way value in an even race.
Race 6
#5. Vivika @ $6.50 / $2.30 (neds) – Has shown ability in a short career and looks better suited back to 1000m. Trials have been sharp and the recent hit-out suggests she’s ready. Each-way chance.
