Our NRL SuperCoach Round 4 team analysis breaks down team list changes, cash cows, trade targets and key insights for every game.

Sea Eagles vs Roosters – Thursday 8:00PM at 4 Pines Park

Sea Eagles

No changes from Round 2 side.

Roosters

Billy Smith returns from concussion, seeing Pauga miss out. Hugo Savala has been named in the extended squad after returning from injury last week in NSW Cup.

SuperCoach Analysis

Wakeham being on the bench is not great news for Simpkin owners, as his prospects of 80 minutes look increasingly unlikely. Trbojevic and Olakau’atu are really the only players to target at Manly currently.

Robson returned from injury last week and produced a strong showing and played 72 minutes, with Watson used in a middle role. There seems to be a battle between DCE and Walker over who gets the ball in attacking areas, which is reducing the appeal of both players. Angus Crichton has been very disappointing from an output perspective.

Warriors vs Wests Tigers – Friday 6:00PM at Go Media Stadium

Warriors

Luke Metcalf has been named to play his first game post ACL injury a whopping 6 weeks earlier than scheduled. Nicoll-Klokstad, Adam Pompey and Harris-Tavita have all been named to return. This sees Tuaupiki move to the reserves, Halasima move to back row, and Gannon missing out due to concussion.

Wests Tigers

Luai has been ruled out for 4 weeks, which sees Jock Madden earn the #6 jersey this week. Adam Doueihi has been named after appearing to suffer an injury in the latter stages of Round 3.

SuperCoach Analysis

Tanah Boyd keeps getting it done. He has now racked up 3x the amount of 90+ games this season as he previously had done in his NRL career. I think the boat has now been missed and would be looking elsewhere, though he is passing the eye test. Halasima is a wrecking ball and should be one of the first names on the teamsheet, but Webster has shown he is happy sitting him on the bench. I think he keeps the spot now, however buyers beware! Jackson Ford is playing ridiculous minutes and has averaged a mammoth 70 in base across the first 3 rounds.

Due to the early bye, a few Tigers are experiencing price movements for the first time in Round 4. Laulilii and Makasini are set to make good cash for owners and are players that you could consider playing pending matchups. Pearce-Paul, May and Doueihi are the players I like at the Tigers.

Broncos vs Dolphins – Friday 8:00PM at Suncorp Stadium

Broncos

Haas has been ruled out with a shoulder injury, which sees Xavier Willison start in the front row. Reynolds returns from a rib injury, which moves Ben Hunt to the bench. Piakura starts in the back row, while Shibasaki has been named on the bench again.

Dolphins

Dolphins are 1-13, with Tom Flegler named on the bench.

SuperCoach Analysis

Until we see more info about Haas, he is a hold. Reece Walsh could be a nice pickup soon. Willison is a good draft pickup.

Finefeuiaki has been a revelation this year. He is averaging 60 in pure base and looks to be a great option. Definitely one to consider this week. Gilbert is a good low end pickup in draft if you need numbers.

Bulldogs vs Knights- Saturday 3:00PM at Accor Stadium

Bulldogs

Tupouniua comes in for Sam Hughes, who is suspended.

Knights

Fletcher Sharpe has been named to return this week, with Tyson Gamble moving to the bench. There were rumours that he aggravated the injury last week at training, so keep an eye on final teams. Tyson Frizell starts at prop in place of the suspended Trey Mooney.

SuperCoach Analysis

Preston, Kikau, Crichton and Kiraz are the targets here.

Hunt is due to make some cash (BE -16) as he continues to cover for the injured Kalyn Ponga. Sharpe is a weapon, however I would be looking to wait a week before considering him for your sides. Dylan Lucas could be nice and cheap soon at sub 700k.

Panthers vs Eels – Saturday 5:30PM at CommBank Stadium

Panthers

Jack Cogger returns from concussion from the bench.

Eels

Samrani will miss 6-8 weeks with a knee injury, which sees Brian Kelly return for the Eels at centre. Hopgood is out for the season after copping a hip drop tackle last week. Luca Moretti joins the bench.

SuperCoach Analysis

Plenty of relevance at the Panthers as they look to win yet another premiership. Yeo, Papali’i , Cleary, To’o, McLean, Edwards and Jenkins can all be considered pending team structure. Papali’i in particular looks a great buy this week if he keeps his spot on the edge.

Pezet is set to make good cash for owners. Jack Williams could experience a bit of an uptick in minutes considering the Hopgood injury.

Cowboys vs Storm – Saturday 7:35PM at Queensland Country Bank Stadium

Cowboys

Tom Chester misses one game due to suspension, which sees Laybutt return at centre. Tom Mikaele and Harrison Edwards join the bench.

Storm

Trent Loiero is back at lock after starting on the bench last week. Tui Kamikamica moves back to the bench.

Supercoach Analysis

Drinkwater punished the non believers last week, however I still think there are better options at fullback. I like Purdue this year and think he is a fanstastic option at a lacklustre 5/8 position. Luki continues to impress and can be considered if you don’t already own him.

Joe Chan owners will be rejoicing in the streets after his mammoth price rise last week. If you missed the initial rise, I would still look to get him in at 444k due to his -37 BE and his 128 sitting in his rolling average for another 2 weeks. He still has 150k+ in him. Utoikamanu has been very impressive and could be a season long keeper. If you’re interested, he is a steal at 557k.

Raiders vs Sharks – Sunday 4:05PM at GIO Stadium

Raiders

Morgan Smithies starts at prop, covering for veteran Josh Papali’i who is serving a one match ban.

Sharks

Briton Nikora has a broken nose. Teig Wilton replaces him in the back row. Braden Uele comes onto the bench.

Supercoach Analysis

Noah Martin and Ethan Sanders still have some cash to make. Hudson Young continues to get the job done and should be a consideration for all teams.

Iro has been a bit underwhelming (by his standards) but will be primed for a buy in the next week or two. He is averaging above 50 and doesn’t have any attacking stats – which will come. Hynes is obviously a gun.

Titans vs Dragons – Sunday 6:15PM at Cbus Super Stadium

Titans

Titans are 1-19.

Dragons

Blake Lawrie moves to prop, covering Toby Couchman who is out with concussion. Hamish Stewart comes in at lock. Ryan Couchman has been given 4 weeks at the judiciary. Sele, Halangahu and Loko Pasifiki Tonga come onto the 6 man bench.

Supercoach Analysis

Kini is still priced nicely and I would persist with him. The Titans usually have points in them, so attacking output can’t be far away. Hau has been excellent and is averaging 58 – a great outcome for owners. He has made 80k and is expected to make another 80k over the next fortnight. Fermor and Campbell are on my watchlist.

Holmes has had an unreal start to the season, especially considering their tough draw to start. The Dragons have a good upcoming run and Val should be brought into teams ASAP. Atkinson still has some money to make and is a lower end play option due to upcoming favourable matchups. If you are able to, I would hold Ryan Couchman over the next month as he looks fantastic. Jaydn Su’A boasts a 3RA of 86 and has been a revelation in 2026. Averaging 56 in pure base and offloading at will, he is a fantastic option.
