#9. Chilli Margs @ $4.60 (neds) – Strong through the line last start despite getting held up at a key stage. Looks suited stepping to 1600m and should get a much kinder run in transit.
Race 6
#10. King Of The Sea @ $3.70 (neds) – Impressive Australian debut where he produced a sharp turn of foot late. Has been kept fresh with a strong trial since and looks a big chance again.
Race 9
#19. Our Gold Hope @ $11 / $3.40 (neds) – .Didn’t get much luck last start but still worked home well. Trialled here since and looks over the odds in an open race.
Caulfield
Race 1
#12. Natural Fling @ $2.05 (neds) – Stable have a big opinion of her and the recent trials have backed that up. Looks hard to beat on debut.
Race 2
#13. Simurgh @ $2.50 (neds) – Strong through the line first-up at Cranbourne and shapes like the rise to 2000m will suit perfectly. Draws to get every chance.
Race 3
#11. Himalayan @ $11 / $2.90 (neds) – Dominant last-start winner who relished the rise to a mile. Steps up in grade now but maps well and looks progressive.
Race 9
#2. Glasgow Lass @ $7 / $2.60 (neds) – Has trialled up nicely for the return and the soft draw helps. Long break is the only knock but there’s clearly talent there.
Morphettville
Race 2
#3. Bred ‘Em All @ $2.40 (neds) – Tough debut winner in a strong race and looks to have plenty of upside. Bigger track and extra trip both look positives.
Race 3
#6. Blue Meteor @ $9 / $2.70 (neds) – Hit the line hard over 1000m on debut and looks suited getting to 1200m now. Should settle closer from the good draw.
Race 6
#2. Arran Bay @ $2.20 (neds) – Flying this prep with back-to-back wins at the track carrying weight. Looks beautifully placed again under these conditions.
Gold Coast
Race 1
#1. Pasima @ $10 / $2.40 (neds) – Outstanding form last prep including four straight wins before tackling much stronger company. Big weight the only concern.
Race 4
#9. Tomato Toastie @ $3.50 (neds) – Rock hard fit and maps to get the right run. Looks better getting into clear air and can keep improving this prep.
Race 7
#1. Half Yours @ $3.50 (neds) – Loved the way he attacked the line fresh and the rise to 1800m looks ideal. Hard to knock after that return.
