Our NRL betting tips for Round 10 cover every game with best bets, totals and predictions across the full weekend schedule.
Dolphins vs Bulldogs – Suncorp Stadium
The line has moved to -8.5 here which seems too much to play a Jekyll and Hyde side like the Dolphins. Burton in doubt for the Bulldogs and the Dolphins approaching full strength. The good version of the Phins could win well but maybe if Burton is out Galvin will move to his natural 6 position with O’Sullivan steering the side around at 7 which could help the Dogs attack. For that reason I’ll steer clear of this one.
Suggested Bets: No bet.
Roosters vs Titans – Polytec Stadium
This game is being played at Gosford where the Roosters have a good record. They have lost some players for this one but so have the Titans. The line at -18.5 looks big but I couldn’t oppose it with much confidence given the way the Roosters have been firing in attack. Titans let us down last week with a poor display so the Roosters should beat them but I couldn’t take them giving away 3 converted tries and there doesn’t appear to be much value in this one in general.
Suggested Bet: No bet.
Cowboys vs Eels – Queensland Country Bank Stadium
This game should be a win for the in form Cowboys but the line has moved out to -10.5 so I will avoid taking the Cowboys line here. The total seems a bit high too but I do lean to the overs slightly.
Suggested Bet: No bet.
Dragons vs Knights – WIN Stadium
A match where Dragons are off a bye and with an extra week to work with the new coach so I think they could improve in this game. The only issue is Newcastle have a lot of points in them on a dry track and it might be hard for the Dragons to go with them if their attack fires. I at least think Dragons come out of the blocks faster in this one so will take their first half total points over 10.5.
Suggested Bet: Dragons 1st Half Total Points > 10.5 @ 1.98 (neds)
Rabbitohs vs Sharks – Accor Stadium
With Latrell Mitchell a late out, this game swings in favour of the Sharks but the market has adjusted. I feel that left side will now be weaker defensively for Souths now and see value in Talakai to get over the chalk for a try.
Suggested Bets: Siosifa Talakai ATS @ $2.60 (neds)
Sea Eagles vs Broncos – 4 Pines Park
I have to favour Manly slightly at home given Brisbane’s outs but I am obviously wary of Brisbane’s resilience and won’t oppose them with confidence. To me the total looks a bit high for a night game. Brisbane don’t tend to concede many points and have some attacking weapons missing for this while Manly have been solid.
Suggested Bet: Total Points Under 51.5 @ $1.90 (neds)
Storm vs Wests Tigers – AAMI Park
Tigers were embarrassed last week v Sharks but have otherwise been a strong side for most of the season so far. I think they will work on their defence this week but Storm will be a desperate side and get Hughes back. I think given the changes to the Tigers spine they will find it tough here. I expect Melbourne to get back to winning ways and cover the line here.
Suggested Bet: Melbourne -5.5 @ $1.85 (neds)
Raiders vs Panthers – GIO Stadium
A matchup the Raiders have faired well in recently and they get Hudson Young and Ethan Strange back for this one. Penrith have been travelling well and deserve favouritism but giving away 10.5 seems excessive here. The Raiders have a bye after this match so I think they’ll be really up for this game.
Suggested Bet: Canberra +10.5 @ $1.85 (neds)
SGM OF THE ROUND
Siosifa Talakai ATS / Teig Wilton ATS / Tallis Duncan ATS / Campbell Graham ATS @ $74.33 (neds)
