#2. Jellicious @ $6.50 / $2.35 EW (neds) – Had to roll forward in a slowly run race fresh which didn’t suit. Draws to get a much better run and looks a key improver.

#9. Call Me Gorgeous @ $2.90 (neds) – Has been excellent in both runs since returning and has the speed to settle closer here. Looks very hard to beat.
Race 7
#12. Phearson @ $14 / $3.70 EW (neds) – Good first-up effort for the new stable and the rise in trip suits. Looks over the odds again.
Flemington
Race 2
#8. Concord Connie @ $4 (neds) – Impressive maiden winner last start and that form has already stacked up. Draw means she may get back, but she’ll be strong late.
Race 3
#2. Seraphox @ $3.80 (neds) – Strong debut effort in good company before a tough win stepping up in trip where he had no favours. Better drawn now and looks a major player.
Race 4
#2. Mukhtalif @ $3.40 (neds) – Smart win on Aussie debut with form already holding up. Draws to get a perfect run on speed and the claim helps offset the weight rise.
Race 5
#4. King Zephyr @ $3.60 (neds) – Forgive the first-up run in the wrong part of the track. Better suited here at Flemington and up to 1400m. Trial since was sharp.
Race 6
#1. Deal Done Fast @ $3.60 (neds) – Still a maiden but brings elite staying form including a strong Derby run. First-up effort was excellent and the big track plus 2800m suits perfectly.

Race 2
#1. Ole Go @ $1.90 (neds) – Looked the winner first-up before peaking late. Fitter now, draws inside and can take control of the race.
Race 3
#2. Mcwoody @ $2.15 (neds) – Worked early last start and still finished strongly. Has been improving all prep and looks suited stepping to 2000m.
Race 8
#2. Charm Stone @ $6.50 / $2.45 EW (neds) – Won this race last year and has the versatility to settle wherever needed. With limited speed, can be closer in the run and looks a great EW play.
Eagle Farm
Race 1
#5. Savagery Vibe @ $2.90 (neds) – Has been very good this prep and loves this track. Draw and rider both suit and looks well placed again.
Race 4
#1. Perfect Play @ $34 / $8 (neds) – Likely improves off this run but the setup suits with the claim and trial form was encouraging. Big odds.
Race 5
#10. Affari @ $5.50 (neds) – Strong debut despite doing work and then backed it up with a sharp trial. Looks a horse with upside and this setup suits.
Race 6
#6. About To Explode @ $2.70 (neds) – Had no luck with the run last start but still hit the line hard. With better tempo here, looks set to get his chance.
