#10. Annie’s Rose @ $3.10 (neds) – Flying this prep and looks to have landed in the right race now. Any rain only enhances her chances and she profiles well again.
Race 7
#6. Idle Flyer @ $3.10 (neds) – Solid return behind Gangsta Granny and has a strong second-up profile. Up to 1500m suits and she looks ready to improve.
Race 9
#12. Ducasse @ $17 / $4.50 (neds) – Tough first-up effort when caught wide without cover and still stuck on. Gets a better setup here with tempo and no weight. Good EW play.
Flemington
Race 2
#6. Wise Inlaw @ $6 / 2.25 (neds) – Has been racing well without winning and should be nearing peak fitness third-up. Covered ground last start and stuck on, with improvement to come. Easy EW play.
Race 6
#5. My Gladiola @ $2.70 (neds) – Forgive the Newmarket where she was uncomfortable and in the wrong part of the track. Excellent fresh run prior and back in trip suits. Big chance.
Race 7
#13. Litzdeel @ $2.50 (neds) – Strong late work at Flemington last start and now gets to 2600m which looks ideal. Shapes as one of the hardest to beat.
Race 8
#10. Leica Lucy @ $5.50 (neds) – Has been settling back and working home evenly this prep. Third-up now with improvement to come and looks to have been set for this.
Race 10
#4. Land Legend @ $31 / $7.50 (neds) – Really liked the jump-out and has shown ability previously, including on heavy ground. Can run well at odds with the right run and thought he was a touch of overs. Keen to see him with the new stable.
Morphettville
Race 4
#4. Signature Scent @ $2.80 (neds) – Didn’t quite run out 1200m last start so the drop back in trip suits. Blinkers go on and she draws to get a perfect run just behind the speed. Hard to beat.
Race 5
#1. Never Ordinary @ $1.55 (neds) – Impressive in both career starts and the figures from her last run stack up strongly. Looks well placed to take the next step.
Race 9
#2. Mating Call @ $5.50 / $2.10 (neds) – Strong first-up effort under a big weight and hit the line well. Brings solid spring form and if she gets luck from the draw, she’s right in this each-way.
Doomben
Race 8
#1. Castillian @ $4 (neds) – Controlled the race last start when allowed to dictate and is now rock-hard fit. Handles the track and trip and if he gets a similar setup, he’s right in the finish again.
