#5. Marchon @ $3.60 (neds) – Back for his second prep after a long break and given time to develop. Quiet on debut but has had two trials to get him ready. Low draw, claim helps, and market moves will be key.
Race 5
#1. Wondereach @ $11 / $2.80 (neds) – Short course specialist who loves Warwick Farm. Just missed last start after doing the work and now meets the winner here better at the weights. Maps well and can run well at EW odds.
Race 6
#4. Metallic Cat @ $1.80 (neds) – Should find the front and control it. Has run time in both starts so far and looks very hard to run down if he gets his way.
Race 7
#5. Call Me Gorgeous @ $3.90 (neds) – Strong return win at Newcastle and now gets Nash on. Looks back to his best and can go on with it.
Geelong
Race 2
#1. Bonus Season @ $2 (neds) – Blew the start fresh and still ran well. If she jumps cleanly here, she lands much closer and should be hard to beat.
Race 4
#4. Lario @ $3.20 (neds) – Comes out of a strong race and looks likely to roll forward and control it. Proven at the track and sets up well.
Race 7
#9. Simply Outrageous @ $3.30 (neds) – Good run last start behind a horse that’s since gone on with it. Gets the right tempo here and will be strong late.
Balaklava
Race 2
#11. Thundara @ $1.80 (neds) – Drops into an easier race after two tougher assignments and maps well from the draw. Hit the line strongly last start and looks well placed.
Race 4
#1. Hakeba @ $3.60 (neds) – Had excuses last start when held up. Draws to use early speed and gets his chance to bounce back.
Race 6
#1. Stokomo @ $2.15 (neds) – Forgive last run where he covered ground. Drops back in grade, draws well and has the speed to land in the right spot.
Doomben
Race 3
#1. I Am Louie @ $2.10 (neds) – Strong effort last start racing wide. Better draw here with blinkers on and should get every chance.
Race 5
#4. Hot Majesty @ $1.80 (neds) – Broke through with a strong win last start and the figures stack up. Well weighted and looks hard to beat again.
Race 7
#2. Climactic @ $3.10 (neds) – Excellent fresh after a long break and was right in the finish. Chance of second-up flat run, but if he improves, he’s clearly the one to beat.
