#3. Maidoff @ $3 (neds) – Ran well last start despite the pattern not favouring him. Only slight knock is the wet ground, but if he handles it he’s right in the mix.
Race 4
#5. Compensation @ $1.95 (neds) – Looked sharp in both trials and has shown good speed and time in them. Maps to roll forward and control the race, and if he finds the front he’ll take catching.
Race 6
#9. Balmain Darling @ $10 (neds) – First run for the new stable didn’t produce much but she should strip fitter second-up. Previous form suggests she can improve sharply and be competitive here.
Sandown
Race 4
#4. Cavalry Scout @ $2.80 (neds) – Returned a gelding after a solid debut where he had to work early into a headwind. Has looked sharp since with a jump-out and trial win, so improvement is expected.
Race 7
#2. Roulette King @ $2.80 (neds) – Impressive return at Ballarat when he put a gap on them late over 1400m. Progressive type and looks well placed to go on with it.

Race 1
#7. Causeweluvadelaide @ $5.50 (neds) – Forgive the last start where the maiden was much stronger than this. Never really got into the race from back in the field but the drop in class helps.
Race 2
#7. Yarrawizardharry @ $2.30 (neds) – Good effort last week and the quick turnaround should suit as it may help him settle better. Maps for a nice run and this looks a very winnable race.
Race 7
#3. Duo Perna @ $2.70 (neds) – Finished off well from the back here last week and will be at peak fitness now. May give them a start again but the race lacks depth.

#6. Braveheart @ $2.10 (neds) – Debuts for the Tony Gollan yard after two encouraging trials. Draws well and handles heavy ground, so looks to have landed in the right race first-up.
Race 4
#4. Amahni’s Girl @ $4.40 (neds) – Fresh run was solid and the rise to 1600m looks ideal now. Handles all conditions and should land on speed, making her hard to run down.
Race 5
#4. I Am Louie @ $3.70 (neds) – Had no luck on debut after being slow out and later running out of room. The run had plenty of merit and with that experience under the belt he can improve sharply.
Race 7
#5. Influential @ $3.90 (neds) – Not the most prolific winner but his recent efforts have been strong. Draws to get a good run in transit and a wet track should suit.
