Buy of the week for me. Coming up against the Eels this week, he could score anything, making him a great VC option and even a captaincy option. Playing rounds 12 and 13 makes him a no-brainer pick this week.
Kalyn Ponga
Returned with a bang after a lengthy injury lay off on the weekend, busting out 92, and I’m expecting more than that against the hopeless dragons this week. I’m expecting him to be in the origin team, which doesn’t make him as appealing as Drinkwater – I think Reece Walsh will start with Ponga on the bench, meaning backing up won’t be an issue. Games against the Dragons, Titans and Eels over the next month of footy – where do I sign?
Greg Marzhew
For basically the same reasons I listed above for KP, the Knights’ draw is unreal over the next month, and now that the Calvary is back for the Knights, I’m expecting plenty of attacking opportunities coming his way outside Bradman Best. Not playing round 12 is a bummer, but you should have enough depth to cover it anyway.
Haumole Olakau’atu
This guy is the real deal and is only in 6% of teams, making him a genuine POD, which is crazy for a guy who’s been averaging 87 since Manly got rid of Anthony Seibold. His base/power is through the roof and is an attacking threat every week. Edge back rowers are SuperCoach gold this year, and it’s time to start loading up on them, and Haumole is among the best of them at the moment.
Cody Ramsey
Good downgrade option to free up some cash if you are carrying around any deadweight at CTW.

Sua Fa’alogo
A fair few coaches are trading out Fa’alogo, and I don’t like it. He’s still the highest averaging fullback in SuperCoach and finds a way to score well every week despite Melbourne being shit house. Games against a deleted Tigers at home, followed by the Eels at Magic round and most importantly, plays every week up until the round 15 bye week. Easy hold.
