Dragons vs Knights – Friday 8:00PM (AEDT) at Jubilee Stadium

Dragons
Christian Tuipulotu returns from the hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined since the early rounds, forcing Corey Allan out of the side. Luciano Leilua returns to the starting side, replacing Dylan Egan who is out for the season after rupturing his ACL. Toby Couchman returns from his shoulder injury from the bench.
Knights
Kalyn Ponga has been named to back up from origin duties, which sees the impressive Fletcher Sharpe shift back to the #6 jersey. Leo Thompson returns to the starting side after missing last week with a bout of gastro.
SuperCoach Analysis
Christian Tuipulotu returns on the favoured left edge where he averaged 85.8 across the opening rounds. You’d be a brave coach to buy on his first week back, but he is a Supercoach weapon so plenty of interest there. King-Togia is priced at $257,200 and is still a reasonable buy if you have enough bye round numbers and are still holding the likes of Tom Duffy. If Leilua locks down the edge role and manages to play 80 mins (big if, though not impossible with their bench makeup) he could be a sneaky lower end option at sub 400k in Classic and almost definitely a free agent in draft.
Dylan Lucas & Fletcher Sharpe are Supercoach studs! Not a lot of Supercoach interest at the Knights outside of those 2 with Marzhew currently injured and Ponga underperforming and having Origin to juggle over the coming 8 weeks.
Titans vs Storm – Saturday 3:00PM (AEDT) at CBus Super Stadium

Titans
Des has again chosen to reshuffle his halves, with Foran moving to the bench. This sees AJ Brimson move into the halves and Jaylan de Groot return at fullback. Fermor and Tino Fa’asuamaleaui have both been named to back up from Origin duty.
Storm
Harry Grant, Trent Loiero & Cameron Munster have all been named to back up from Origin duty. Bronson Garlick has been named on the bench.
SuperCoach Analysis
A few relevant Supercoach options at the Titans, but with most of them playing Origin it is hard to recommend any as buys. With Des mucking around again with his halves, I am putting a line through AJ Brimson as things stand. Baffling why you’d keep persisting with de Groot to the detriment of Kieran Foran & AJ Brimson.
An unreal fixture this week, and some equally appealing across other hard to cover mini bye rounds such as 16 & 19 has me interested in a few Storm players. Xavier Coates continues to get it done, now averaging a whopping 74. Hughes, Katoa & Papenhuyzen are all potential buys as soon as it makes sense for your sides, and a fixture against the Titans feels ideal. For those that like a bet or play SC Draft, the Titans have conceded hat tricks to right wingers in 3 of their last 4 games (Robert Derby, Jacob Kiraz & Xavier Savage) Sua Fa’alogo could be worth a feature.
Cowboys vs Wests Tigers – Saturday 5:30PM (AEDT) at Queensland Country Bank Stadium

Cowboys
Tom Dearden, Jeremiah Nanai & Reuben Cotter have all been named to back up this week for the Cowboys. Murray Taulagi is out with a calf injury which sees Jaxson Paulo come in on the wing. Sam McIntyre moves to prop and Coen Hess will come off the bench.
Wests Tigers
Lachlan Galvin has been omitted from the Tigers lineup as he closes in on a mid season move to the Bulldogs. He is replaced by Heath mason, though I expect this to be a temporary move with Latu Fainu nearing a return from injury.
SuperCoach Analysis
Scott Drinkwater had a bad week scoring wise in Round 12, however a game at home vs the Tigers is the perfect opportunity to bounce back. With so many other fullbacks either underperforming, injured or playing Origin, he is a genuine top 3 option in the position as things stand. Jeremiah Nanai is interesting to me, however isn’t someone I can look at until post origin. Zac Laybutt might be worth a draft pickup on that Cowboys left edge that has been humming of late.
Buy Terrell May if you don’t own him. Enough said. Latu Fainu could be worth a stash in draft as I expect him to be starting within the next week or two.
Sea Eagles vs Broncos – Saturday 7:35PM (AEDT) at 4 Pines Park

Sea Eagles
Tom Trbojevic has been ruled out with a corked thigh, which sees Lehi Hopoate move to fullback. You really have to question the Sea Eagles’ management of Tom Trbojevic over the last few weeks…
Tommy Talau comes onto the wing, with Josh Aloiai and Ben Trbojevic returning. Daly Cherry-Evans has been named to back up from Origin 1.
Broncos
Pat Carrigan & Payne Haas have been named to back up from Origin duty. Reece Walsh is still missing, with Jesse Arthars covering at fullback while Cobbo returns to the wing. Ben Te Kura comes onto the bench, replacing Fletcher Baker.
SuperCoach Analysis
Lehi Hopoate is a buy this week as he looks to be very relevant whether on the wing or at fullback. Olakau’atu was well contained last week by Dylan Brown, however I expect him to bounce back soon with a huge game after being unlucky to miss out on Origin selection. Jazz Tevaga keeps getting it done, however I am vehemently against making trades at the wasteland of a position that is Hooker.
No Supercoach interest outside of the Origin guys at this point at the Broncos.
Rabbitohs vs Warriors – Sunday 2:00PM (AEDT) at Accor Stadium

Rabbitohs
Sean Keppie comes onto the bench for Liam Le Blanc. Latrell Mitchell has been named to back up from the Origin opener.
Warriors
James Fisher-Harris returns from his one week suspension, while Rocco Berry returns from his hamstring injury in the centres.
SuperCoach Analysis
Keaon Koloamatangi has been a man possessed since moving to the middle. Last week he posted an absurd 97 in pure base. He is a super popular buy with 60% of coaches in the top 1% bringing him in this week. Ideally, you’d buy him this week however I think you can wait until next week if you have more pressing trades to make. Latrell Mitchell & Campbell Graham are super cheap and will come into consideration very soon.
Erin Clark continues to get it done and looks fantastic each week for the Wahs. He is tough to buy at 700k, especially with the plethora of amazing FRF options we have this season, however if you did he won’t let you down. James Fisher-Harris and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck are both worth consideration as they are cheap following injury.
Panthers vs Eels – Sunday 4:05PM (AEDT) at CommBank Stadium

Panthers
All 5 Origin representing Panthers have been named to back up against the Eels. Scott Sorensen returns from suspension and returns in the back row with Isaiah Papali’i still out with a knee injury. Izack Tago returns to centre.
Eels
Mitch Moses & Zac Lomax have both been named for the Eels, which sees Sean Russell move from the wing to centre, replacing Will Penisini who is out due to concussion protocols. Dean Hawkins drops to the reserves after a very impressive performance against Manly last week.
Supercoach Analysis
The Panthers I am interested in owning are all Origin representatives so I will be waiting on all of them that aren’t named Nathan Cleary.
Zac Lomax is a Supercoach stud and can be brought in this week assuming he gets through Origin unscathed.
Roosters vs Raiders – Sunday 6:15PM (AEDT) at Allianz Stadium

Roosters
All 5 Roosters representing their states have been named to back up from Origin 1. Dom Young drops out of the squad, with Foketi and Egan Butcher moving to the bench.
Raiders
Owen Pattie starts for the Raiders with Tom Starling out due to suspension. Hudson Young has been named to back up from Origin 1. Danny Levi comes onto the bench as coverage for Pattie.
Supercoach Analysis
Mark Nawaqanitawase continues to post great scores. It is a shame I own so many other Roosters as I would otherwise already own him. Siua Wong & Billy Smith can be moved on this week if you have enough coverage moving forward. Sandon Smith continues to post decent/good scores at the Hooker position, so my strategy is to hold him there for the foreseeable future as any trades there feel like a waste. James Tedesco is the best fullback in Supercoach, however with him missing Rounds 14 & 17, I would wait before buying now.
Savelio Tamale is averaging 61 and is a hold at this point. Tapine is a Supercoach weapon and wouldn’t look out of place in anyone’s side this year.
