Check out our team list analysis for Round 2.

Broncos vs Eels – Thursday 8:00PM at Suncorp Stadium

Broncos

Ezra Mam has again been named at #6, despite being a late change to the bench in favour of Ben Hunt in Round 1.

Eels

Josh Addo-Carr has overcome a thumb injury and takes his place on the wing, shifting Sean Russell to centre and Brian Kelly to the extended squad. Jack Williams has been named at Prop to cover the suspended Hopgood (for a head clash) Kelma Tuilagi starts on the edge.

SuperCoach Analysis

The Broncos big guns were all slow out of the blocks last week. I don’t expect this to last for long, with the likes of Walsh, Haas and Carrigan to still end up elite options in 2026.

No major Supercoach ramifications from Round 2 Team Lists.

Warriors vs Raiders – Friday 6:00PM at Go Media Stadium, Auckland

Warriors

Warriors are 1-19 as per last week.

Raiders

Josh Papalii is out with concussion, which sees Morgan Smithies start in the front row. Matt Timoko has been added to the bench as he looks to return from a foot injury.

SuperCoach Analysis

Tanah Boyd was unreal last week, and he has shown he has that sort of performance in him. I still think there are far better options at halfback, though he could become tempting as a cash grab if he puts up another good score. Jacob Laban did not get through enough work for owners, and seems likely to need more minutes to be relevant.

Noah Martin was electric, and has repaid Ricky Stuart’s faith (and SC owners alike) You can see why he won the spot in pre season. Usual suspects got through their work for good scores. Ethan Sanders looks to be a good cash generator with the goal kicking and looking comfortable in Round 1.

Roosters vs Rabbitohs – Friday 8:00PM at Allianz Stadium

Roosters

Rob Toia comes back at centre. Siua Wong has been named to start in the back row, with Nat Butcher moving to the bench. One to keep an eye on for final squads on Friday as this could be reversed. Egan Butcher starts at lock.

Rabbitohs

The Rabbitohs injury woes continue, with Ashton Ward out with an ankle injury. This sees Jayden Sullivan come into the side at halfback. Sean Keppie has been added to the bench.

SuperCoach Analysis

I am very low on Cherry-Evans as a Supercoach option, and last week did nothing to change that opinion. Connor Watson is irrelevant as a bench utility, so would need to see a role change before he becomes an option again. Rob Toia should be a benefactor of the new try assist rules.

Cody Walker wound the clock back with a great performance in Round 1. In a tough to fill position, he looks to be the obvious choice in sides at #6. Cameron Murray was impressive, putting up 55 in pure base in 67 minutes. Tallis Duncan is too good to be on the bench, though he again has been named there.

Wests Tigers vs Cowboys- Saturday 3:00PM at Leichhardt Oval

Wests Tigers

Haemasi Makasini has been named at centre, with Luke Laulilii outside him. New recruit Kai Pearce-Paul will partner Samuela Fainu in the back row. Adam Doueihi is the halfback.

Cowboys

Braidon Burns has been named, though he does have a judiciary hearing this week. Scott Drinkwater has damaged rib cartilage, and is expected to play through pain.

SuperCoach Analysis

Doueihi, Pearce-Paul, Terrell & Taylan May all could be very relevant this season. If you didn’t start with Makasini, I would like to buy in Round 4 after seeing him for a few weeks.

The Cowboys were very poor last round, and I expect them to regress this season. Tom Dearden and Scott Drinkwater are high end Supercoach options, however I just don’t trust the Cowboys this season. Luki was at his barnstorming best in Round 1. If his body holds up, he will make mass cash for owners.

Dragons vs Storm – Saturday 5:30PM at WIN Stadium

Dragons

Dragons are 1-19.

Storm

Tui Kamikamica comes in for Alec MacDonald, who misses out due to concussion protocols. Jack Hetherington comes onto the bench. Blore is in the extended squad.

SuperCoach Analysis

I was worried about the 4 forward bench in terms of output for Toby Couchman, but this turned out to not matter. Both Couchman brothers are great options, though I would give it another week to make sure minutes stay the same if you don’t already own (as the Suli HIA potentially threw minutes out of whack)

Plenty of Supercoach relevance at the storm. Leo, Chan & Lisati all got through their work and posted good scores to help with cash generation. Grant was electric, though did cop what looked like an ankle injury late in the Eels game. Munster, Hughes and Faalogo will all be relevant.

Panthers vs Sharks – Saturday 7:35PM at Carrington Park, Bathurst.

Panthers

Panthers have opted for the same 19 man squad, though Jenkins this time has been named on the wing rather than being a late change.

Sharks

Sharks have opted for the same 19 man squad.

Supercoach Analysis

Jenkins was great last week, and could be an awesome POD option if he retains his place. Papali’i will be an elite scorer if he locks down an 80 minute edge role, though Sorensen is still lingering and Liam Martin is still to come back into the side. Yeo, Edwards and Cleary are proven guns.

I won’t be falling for the Trindall masterclass as I have in previous seasons. Brailey, Iro, Hynes, Fonua-Blake and Nikora should all be relevant again in 2026.

Sea Eagles vs Knights – Sunday 4:05PM at 4 Pines Park.

Sea Eagles

Taukeiaho misses out with a calf injury, which sees Kobe Hetherington start in the front row.

Knights

Sandon Smith will play five-eighth in place of the injured Fletcher Sharpe. Francis Manuleleua has been added to the bench.

Supercoach Analysis

Garrick doesn’t look to be fantasy relevant without the goalkicking. Tom Trbojevic looked great, and will no doubt be unreal when fit. Olakau’atu was strong in his first game back from injury.

Some relevance at the Knights. Ponga (if he keeps the kicking), Marzhew, Mooney and Lucas all did well in Round 1 and will likely be relevant again in 2026.

Dolphins vs Titans – Sunday 6:15PM at Suncorp Stadium

Dolphins

Max Plath and Ray Stone both return on the bench. Trai Fuller is now on the extended bench.

Titans

Titans have named the same 19 man squad.

Supercoach Analysis

Farnworth picked up where he left off in 2025 with a good performance. So many players at the Phins could be majorly Supercoach relevant with slight role changes or things going their way. These guys are all on my watchlist: Cobbo, Isaako, Flegler, Knowles, Plath.

Tino wasn’t at his usual best and also played less minutes than expected. Kini & Fermor will still be good options. Hau was decent on debut, scoring 57 in 80 minutes.
