NRL Round 7 SuperCoach Buy Hold Sell

Buy

James Tedesco
Perfect time to buy the GOAT SuperCoach fullback – has practically bottomed out in price and the Roosters run over the next 5 weeks is superb. Will be a very nervous month watching Tedesco if you don’t own him. Great captaincy option this week.

Jacob Preston
The Dogs looked like they’ve turned a corner after that unreal performance against the Panthers last week and I want this beast in my team – his hole running is such a threat and he’ll continue to score tries with defences being short on the edges with this constant 6 again bullshit happening in the NRL. He could score 5 tries against the Eels this week who are a basket case.

Terrell May
Another one similar to Teddy who has bottomed out in price and it’s time to jump on. He has been good without being great but due to the Tigers being on a roll Benji has been able to give him a decent spell in most games – the Tigers are about to go through a tough 4-6 weeks of fixtures and I think Benji will be relying on big minutes from May.

Kai Pearce-Paul
Continuing with the Tigers trend KPP looks every bit a keeper in 2026 – I don’t know what he did in the off season but he’s been unlocked under Benji Marshall. It’s time to start moving on the likes of Joe Chan for season long keepers and this guy fits the bill.

Mark Nawaqanitawase
Big fan of bringing in Marky Mark this week just on the hunch that I think the Roosters could put some big scores on over the next month of footy. Moses Leo among other under performing ctw cheapies need to be sold and upgraded and I think this is good play. A Tedesco and Nawaqanitawase stack will be great viewing over the coming weeks.

Tallis Duncan
After a slow start being benched to start the year he’s found his straps over the last fortnight and, similar to Jacob Preston, his hole running on the edge is as dynamic as it gets for a back rower. Watch team news floating around on socials but I think he will play left edge with the injury to David Fifita and is a cheaper alternative if you can’t afford the big guns.

Ryan Couchman / Ativalu Lisati
A little left field here however with the likes of Joe Chan and Noah Martin ready for upgrading or downgrading – these guys are great downgrade options to free up cash to splurge on guns over the next fortnight or so. Will be back playing shortly and making plenty of cash.

Hold

Heamasi Makasini
I wouldn’t push back too hard if you decided to sell him, however I think he’ll be far better SuperCoach wise on the wing as opposed to centre. He just needs to fall over the line once or twice and we’ve seen in the trials he can do that. I’ll be holding strong with Makasini for the time being.

Sell

Pat Carrigan
Suspended for two weeks with an origin series approaching – I’d be selling to the likes of Terrell May or Alex Twal

Dylan Lucas
Out for 4 weeks with a throat injury sustained on the weekend – sell.

David Fifita
Out for up to 6 weeks with a hamstring injury – sell.

Joe Chan
Has peaked in price and it’s time to move him on to some season long keepers.
