Our NRL betting tips for Round 7 cover every game with best bets, totals and predictions across the full weekend schedule.
Cowboys vs Sea Eagles – Queensland Country Bank Stadium
A fixture Manly have faired well in the last 5 years but the Cowboys seem to be the better side at the moment. In saying that the market seems about right in this one.
Suggested Bets: No bet.
Raiders vs Storm – GIO Stadium
Both sides have been struggling this season but Canberra found a win last week in Perth while Melbourne are in unfamiliar territory having lost 4 in a row. Canberra travel from Perth with only 6 days between games which isn’t ideal preparation. Melbourne will be desperate to turn their form around but they are in a deep hole in the moment and can’t be backed with any confidence right now. This game could go either way and is probably best left alone from a betting perspective.
Suggested Bet: No bet.
Dolphins vs Panthers – TIO Stadium
Both teams travel up to Darwin off poor results. Penrith had an off night in losing their first match last weekend while Dolphins were thumped by Manly in their last match before the bye. Penrith lost some important troops for this game with McLean suspended and Martin injured. Considering this, the line in this one seems a bit big.
Suggested Bet: Dolphins +15.5 @ $1.90 (neds)
Warriors vs Titans – Go Media Stadium
Both sides had impressive victories last week but the Titans have performed better in this fixture over the years. The line looks slightly on the big side at 10.5 but it’s difficult to back against the Warriors at home. The value tends to lie in the tryscorers market with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck. He has scored 9 tries in his last 12 games against the Titans and got off the mark last round.
Suggested Bet: Roger Tuivasa-Sheck ATS @ $2.30 (neds)
Rabbitohs vs Dragons – Accor Stadium
Souths suffered a disappointing loss in Perth last week while the Dragons season continues to go from bad to worse. Souths have lost some key troops in this one with Jye Gray and David Fifita out. With Souths’ injuries the line looks a bit big in this one.
Suggested Bet: Dragons +12.5 @ $1.90 AND Souths 1-12 @ $3.15 (neds)
Wests Tigers vs Broncos – Campbelltown Sports Stadium
Tigers get Luai and Taylan May back for this one while the Broncos have a number of injuries but have still named a competitive side. I think the Tigers line at -6.5 looks about right and there doesn’t appear to be much value in this one.
Suggested Bet: No bet.
Roosters vs Knights – Allianz Stadium
Roosters appear like they might be about to find form with an impressive 2nd half showing vs Sharks in Perth last week where as Newcastle were brought back to earth by the Tigers last week. Newcastle lost Frizell and Lucas to injury to offset the return of Dylan Brown while the Roosters are virtually at full strength and the line looks slightly skinny here.
Suggested Bet: Roosters -11.5 @ $1.90 (neds)
Eels vs Bulldogs – CommBank Stadium
The Bulldogs had their most impressive win for a while last week in beating Penrith while Parramatta had arguably their worst loss for a long time in conceding over 50 to the Titans. The line looks slightly on the big side at +13.5 here but I couldn’t be confident backing either side of that line. Instead the Tryscorer market stands out with Enari Tuala priced just shy of 3.00 having scored 6 tries in his last 6 games against Parramatta. He has looked sharp of late too.
Suggested Bet: Enari Tuala ATS @ $2.95 (neds)
MULTI’S OF THE ROUND
Roger Tuivasa-Sheck ATS / Enari Tuala ATS @ $2.95 / Jacob Preston ATS @ $13.54 (neds)
