Check out our team list analysis for Round 8! A big Team List Tuesday with plenty of big returns.

Broncos vs Bulldogs – Thursday 7:50PM (AEDT) at Suncorp Stadium

Broncos

Selwyn Cobbo has been named at fullback, replacing Reece Walsh who is out for 4-6 weeks with a knee injury. Deine Mariner comes onto the wing vacated by Cobbo. Brendan Piakura returns to the bench after his suspension. Xavier Willison is named on the edge after playing there last week, however he did not get 80 mins and is unlikely to again with this bench makeup.

Bulldogs

Harry Hayes comes onto the bench for the injured Jack Todd. Max King had an outstanding game last week vs the Rabbitohs and is leading from the front in the Bulldogs pack.

Roosters vs Dragons – Friday 4:00PM (AEDT) at Allianz Stadium

Roosters

The much anticipated and discussed dropping of Dom Young has happened, with Billy Smith returning and Mark Nawaqanitawase moving to the wing. Spencer Leniu starts at prop for the injured Nat Butcher. Angus Crichton returns in the back row. Egan Butcher has been added to the bench, where he is expected to play a middle role.

Dragons

Sione Finau has been called into the top squad to replace Mat Feagai who is out with a broken leg. Emre Guler returns from suspension and replaces Hamish Stewart. Sione Finau is one to watch for Supercoach as he plays on the favoured left edge and has tryscoring form in the limited chances he has had in 2025. We again expect Dylan Egan to shift to the starting side on gameday.

Warriors vs Knights – Friday 6:05PM (AEDT) at Apollo Projects Stadium

Warriors

Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad returns from concussion protocols, with Taine Tuaupiki returning to the wing. This pushes Ed Kosi out of the 17. Rocco Berry returns, pushing Kurt Capewell back to the second row, with Leka Halasima to the bench. He is a serious player and it can’t be long until he forces his way into the top 13 at an NRL club.

Knights

Dylan Lucas returns for the Knights, which sees Thomas Cant move to the bench. Jack Cogger is in the extended squad so could be a late inclusion if he is preferred to Tyson Gamble. Kalyn Ponga has dropped some serious cash and owners should just be holding and hoping for more involvement soon. Their upcoming run is good, however I want to see more before I am looking to buy.

Storm vs Rabbitohs – Friday 8:10PM (AEDT) at AAMI Park

Storm

Nick Meaney returns from a broken jaw, replacing Jack Howarth who is out with a shoulder injury. Tui Kamikamica is out with an ankle injury and is replaced by Lazarus Vaalepu. Bronson Garlick continues to deputise for the injured Harry Grant at Hooker, however his expected minutes remain unclear with Tyran Wishart named on the bench.

Rabbitohs

Latrell Mitchell has been named back at fullback, with Jye Gray moving to the bench. Bentleigh-Hape comes onto the wing with Campbell Graham moving back to his favoured centre position. This sees Euan Aitken move to the back row, with Arrow moving to lock to replace Lachlan Hubner who misses this game due to concussion protocols.

Cowboys vs Titans – Saturday 5:30PM (AEDT) at Queensland Country Bank Stadium

Cowboys

John Bateman returns to partner Jeremiah Nanai in the back row, seeing Sam McIntyre and Kai O’Donnell moving to the bench. The Cowboys have started to click and Supercoaches that held Jaxon Purdue have been paid back and some.

Titans

David Fifita has been named, however I would exercise caution if you are buying as all reports had him listed as being out for a month. Keep an eye on final team lists before kickoff to make sure he is playing. Alofiana Khan-Pereira returns on the wing. Mr Fix-It Chris Randall is playing in the back row, showing his versatility once again.

Panthers vs Sea Eagles – Saturday 7:35PM (AEDT) at CommBank Stadium

Panthers

Mitch Kenny has been suspended which sees Luke Sommerton take over the hooking duties. Luke Garner is out with concussion which sees Izack Tago come back into the starting side at centre.

Sea Eagles

TURBO IS BACK! Tom Trbojevic has been named to return early, with Lehi Hopoate shifting back to the wing. Jazz Tevaga starts at lock with Jake Trbojevic missing this one due to concussion. Jake Simpkin starts at hooker. Josh Aloiai comes into the starting front row with Sipley very likely to be suspended on Tuesday night.

Raiders vs Dolphins – 2:00PM (AEDT) at GIO Stadium

Raiders

Raiders are 1-17. Hosking does not appear to be an option currently with Horsburgh and Tapine getting bulk minutes in the pack.

Dolphins

Mark Nicholls moves to lock to replace Kaufusi who is out with a knee injury. Jeremy Marshall-King remains out with infection. Another one to keep an eye on here is Max Plath, who has been named despite reports of him being out for up to 6 weeks. Be sure to check team lists on gameday for final confirmation. I say it most weeks, but Herbie Farnworth is so good to watch and such a fun player to own in Supercoach!

Wests Tigers vs Sharks – Monday 4:05pm (AEDT) at Leichhardt Oval

Wests Tigers

In a complete turn of events, the Tigers have backflipped and selected Lachlan Galvin this week. The way this has been handled is truly puzzling! Adam Doueihi moves back to centre and Brent Naden goes to the wing, with Luke Laulilii missing out. Royce Hunt returns on the bench.

Sharks

Toby Rudolf is out with an ankle injury and is replaced by Tuku Hau Tapuha. It would appear that Kayal Iro is still 1-2 weeks away from a return.
