Titans forward Beau Fermor will miss the clash against Cronulla after suffering a bruised kidney in the win over the Broncos.
After missing the entire 2023 season with an ACL injury, Fermor has returned in style in 2024, playing all 19 games so far for Des Hasler.
Fermor will be replaced by Klese Haas for the showdown with the Sharks on Friday.
Wests Tigers centre Justin Olam requires surgery on both knees and will miss the remainder of the season.
After undergoing an extensive medical review, the PNG international has been booked in for surgery this week.
The Raiders will be without forward Zac Hosking for the remainder of the season as he undergoes surgery on a shoulder injury.
The Broncos, meanwhile, have confirmed a lisfranc injury for star prop Payne Haas, while scans have also revealed a syndesmosis issue for grand final hero Ezra Mam.
Haas played just 10 minutes at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday after succumbing to the same injury that forced Knights star Kalyn Ponga to spend 11 weeks on the sidelines earlier in the season.
Five-eighth Mam came down awkwardly in a tackle just before half-time and had to be helped from the field, unable to put any pressure on his right ankle.
“We will consult specialists in coming days, with both players unavailable for selection this weekend while we map out a way forward,” Broncos head of performance David Ballard said on Monday.
Huge inclusions for the Sea Eagles with Lehi Hopoate (eye socket), Reuben Garrick (head knock), Jason Saab (head knock) and Lachlan Croker (concussion symptoms) all back on deck for the trip to Canberra.
Croker hasn’t played since Round 9, with the combined effects of a concussion suffered that day and an associated neck injury leaving him in constant pain.
Rabbitohs halfback Cody Walker is back on deck after missing Round 22 due to calf tightness but Jacob Host (abdominal strain) and Siliva Havili (hamstring) are both facing 2-3 weeks on the sideline.
Elsewhere, Cronulla halfback Braydon Trindall will miss the clash against the Titans after suffering a low-grade hamstring strain against the Rabbitohs.
“We will consult specialists in coming days, with both players unavailable for selection this weekend while we map out a way forward”
Trindall will continue to undergo treatment in an effort to be available for the Sharks’ Round 24 clash with the Dolphins.
Roosters duo Nat Butcher (rib cartilage) and Dom Young (hamstring) picked up injuries against the Dolphins and will be monitored by medical staff ahead of the Round 24 clash with the Eels.
Dolphins duo Tevita Pangai jnr (calf) and Kodi Nikorima (illness) are set to line up against the Warriors after missing last week’s game against the Roosters. Winger Jamayne Isaako rolled his ankle in that game but is expected to play this week.
Cowboys utility Jake Granville suffered a suspected pec injury in Thursday night’s match against Wests Tigers at Leichhardt Oval.
Granville is awaiting scan results to determine the extent of the injury while lock Jason Taumalolo won’t require surgery on a cheekbone injury and could return before the end of the season.
Rabbitohs winger Alex Johnston is facing 6-9 months out of the game after rupturing his Achilles in Canberra on Sunday night. Fullback Latrell Mitchell will continue with his conservative management of his foot injury and is facing four more weeks in a moon boot.
