Round 10 is here, so lets take a look at popular buys and sells across the Supercoach landscape.

BUY:

Beau Fermor – Looks great when Des actually puts him on the edge. Has dual 2RF/CTW coverage, and is still somewhat of a POD option at only 14% ownership. Is reliable, and set to make decent cash over the next few weeks with a BE of -24 following another good score vs the Knights in magic round.

Nicho Hynes – Not a must by any means, and he’s not the Nicho we’ve come to know over the past few years, but he’ still managing to average 73 points per game. He put up 78 against the Tigers and then a ton against the Eels and now has a very healthy 3RA of 86.7 At $663K, think he’s a decent HFB option and covers the first two major bye rounds – especially with Cleary and Moses likely on Origin duties.

Selwyn Cobbo – Almost confirmed to get dual status in the R12 update which is great for flexibility, and is a reasonable chance of missing origin selection with the form of Taulagi & Coates. Priced at 472k and keeping the fullback duties for another few weeks at least, he is a good option. Just keep in mind that he misses the first two major bye rounds even if he does miss origin selection – maybe one for the H2H players among us.

Jacob Kiraz – A Supercoach stud! Kiraz tore the Titans apart last week and looked like he could make something happen every time he touched the ball. Now averaging 88 and only owned by 12% of teams, I would be moving heaven and earth to get this man into my team. $732k seems a steal!

Dylan Lucas – Just keeps getting it done, with another 80+ score over Magic Round. Averaging 81 for the season with dual flexibility and priced under $700k, there is a lot to like about Dylan Lucas. If that wasn’t enough, he plays the Titans & Eels next, before playing a Panthers side over the first bye round that will be missing Sorensen, Cleary, Edwards, Toó, Yeo & Martin. Where do I sign?

Reuben Garrick – Manly have had their first bye and provide coverage for the 3 major bye rounds. Don’t need to overthink the room on this one, just get Garrick into your side.

Herbie Farnworth – Genuinely one of my favourite players to watch each week, and has a mouthwatering fixture against my Eels this weekend (where he is a potential VC candidate being the early game of the round) Herbie is averaging 73 and has plenty of room for improvement with more attacking stats. A must have!

Kalyn Ponga – We said to hold last week, and are moving him to a buy this week. He’s rock bottom price now, and whilst the Knights attack sucks, he has upcoming games against the Titans and the Eels. After putting on a score against the hapless Titans last week, we are backing Ponga to keep orchestrating for the Knights.

HOLD:

Lachlan Galvin – Averaging mid 60s since coming back into the side which is good, however Galvin is really passing the eye test and looks great on the Tigers left. An easy hold with a lack of amazing 5/8 options in Supercoach this year.

Savelio Tamale – Quietly going about his business and has now made over $320k for owners, averaging 62 across the opening rounds. BE is still only 31 so unlikely to lose cash this week and covers the first major bye round.

Tom Jenkins – Amazing what happens when glue hands Mclean is out of the side! Unfortunately, Jenkins has been named on the bench this weekend which likely stunts his price movements and will make him a sell in the coming weeks (unless there are late team changes) For now, he is worth a hold considering his BE is 1.

Siua Wong – Siua provides elite bye coverage, covering all the major byes. He is averaging 61, and has a 5RA of 66 so is a low end keeper considering these numbers. There are probably better options for Classic sides on the run home, but considering his bye coverage he is a no brainer hold for now.

SELL:

Hudson Young – Controversial opinion here, but I think it might be time to cash in on Hudson Young. While I expect him to always be heavily involved in Canberra’s attack, he likely plays origin and can be traded for other back row options while pocketing a mammoth 200k. He is fine to hold if needed as his base numbers are up, however we lean towards a sale.

Max Plath – Out until Round 13-14. Sell

Jaxson Purdue – Has made almost 400k for owners and now has a BE of 100. He also misses R12, so I would be looking to cash in and turn him into one of the CTW guns on the list above. The Cowboys left edge is humming and I still expect him to do well, but trading him to a Herbie or Kiraz for 100k is just too tempting to pass up.

Jacob Preston – Suspended for 4 games. Sell

David Fifita – Not in first grade and reports now suggesting he has an ankle injury. Sell

Josh Curran – Suspended for a few weeks. Sell unless you have awesome coverage in your FRF.

Peter Mamouzelos – Out with a dislocated elbow, with recovery time frame unknown. Sell
