Our NRL betting tips for Round 14 of the NRL cover every game with best bets, totals and predictions across the full weekend schedule.
Sea Eagles vs Rabbitohs – 4 Pines Park
Although Brandon Smith and David Fifita are back, Latrell Mitchell is still missing for Souths, and Koula and Olakauatu are back for Manly. Manly off a loss are dangerous at home and defence has been their strong point Under Foran.
Suggested Bets: Total Points Under 50.5 @ $1.90 AND Souths Team Total Points Under 23.5 @ $1.94 (neds)
Storm vs Knights – AAMI Park
Melbourne have improved in the last month with 3 victories in the last 4. Newcastle have been on fire but have a poor record in Melbourne. However, in a night game I expect this game to be fairly tight and don’t think either side will post a high score.
Suggested Bet: Melbourne Team Total Points Under 26.5 @ $1.87 (neds)
Raiders vs Roosters – GIO Stadium
Roosters have lost 2 in a row only scoring a total of 3 tries in those losses so their attack has struggled of late. A night game in Canberra isn’t usually the game you want when your attack is misfiring. Nawaqanitawase could be back and Roosters still have a great side on paper but I couldn’t have them as favourites in a tough match like this. I feel this is one to avoid.
Suggested Bet: No bet.
Cowboys vs Dolphins – Queensland Country Bank Stadium
Cowboys are tough at home but this Dolphins side at full strength seem a superior side to me. Their defence is better than North QLD’s and their attack is as good as anyone’s in the competition. If they play close to their best they should win this game and cover the line.
Suggested Bet: Dolphins -4.5 @ $1.90 (neds)
Broncos vs Titans – Suncorp Stadium
Hard to trust Brisbane much after last week’s horror show. Something doesn’t seem right with them currently. However, last season it was a match against Titans at Suncorp that was a form changer after they arrested a run of successive defeats and I think it could happen again. Madge has made changes and I think Brisbane will respond.
Suggested Bets: Brisbane -7.5 @ $1.83 (neds)
Wests Tigers vs Panthers – CommBank Stadium
This will be very tough for Tigers. Penrith beat the side closest to them last week without 3 of their 4 Origin stars so I think they’ll build on that and beat the Tigers. The line looks a bit big but not big enough to take the plus. No play here.
Suggested Bets: No bet.
Sharks vs Dragons – Ocean Protect Stadium
I think after Dragons found a win they could be dangerous here. Cronulla have been very good at home though and most of their wins have been convincing on home soil. I’m not convinced that will be the case here and the 11.5 looks biggish. With Brailey now out as well as Nicho Hynes still missing I am willing to trust the Dragons to get within striking distance in this one.
Suggested Bets: Dragons +11.5 @ $1.90 (neds)
Bulldogs vs Eels – Accor Stadium
Canterbury still struggle to score points and have Crichton and Kiraz in doubt for this one. Parramatta are missing Junior Paulo and Mitch Moses but still have points in them. On paper the Dogs should win but if Parramatta hit 20+ points, which they often do the Dogs are no certainty to have enough to go with them. With those players in doubt it’s best to leave this one alone.
Suggested Bets: No bet.
