Both sides come into this clash searching for answers, but South Sydney arguably look the steadier of the two. The Rabbitohs were competitive against Manly despite the result, while Brisbane’s loss to the Titans raised further questions about their form and confidence. With Origin absences impacting both teams, this shapes as a grind rather than a shootout, and Souths appear better placed to handle the disruption.

Dolphins vs Roosters – Suncorp Stadium

Given the lineups, leaning towards Dolphins at the line to get this done at home.

Two genuine finals contenders meet in what should be one of the more entertaining games of the round. The Warriors are always tough to beat in Auckland, while Cronulla have shown enough throughout the season to suggest they’ll be right in the contest despite some key absences. It’s a fascinating matchup, but can’t find clear betting value here.

Eels vs Raiders – CommBank Stadium
Parramatta may have fallen short against the Bulldogs, but their effort and competitiveness continue to be a positive. Canberra, meanwhile, will be desperate to bounce back after a disappointing performance against the Roosters. The Raiders arguably possess the higher ceiling, but their inconsistency makes them difficult to trust, and the Eels have shown enough fight in recent weeks to suggest they can make this a tight contest.

Wests Tigers vs Titans – Leichardt Oval
The Titans produced one of their most complete performances of the season last week, while the Tigers continue to search for consistency. Gold Coast’s attacking upside makes them dangerous, but backing either side with confidence has been difficult for much of the year. There are enough question marks surrounding both teams that this shapes as a game best watched rather than heavily invested in.
