I have spent the last month doing analysis on different betting markets across world football. It’s a small sample size, however I have had really good success over this period. For a lot of the below bets, I would really recommend placing bets using Bet365. They often have the best odds, and have amazing promotions like Early Payout (Bet paid as a win if your selection goes 2 goals ahead) and Sub On Play On (If your player gets subbed, the bet rolls over to their replacement)
Chelsea vs Sunderland
The very impressive Omar Alderete misses the trip to Stamford Bridge, which sees Sunderland forced into a reshuffle at the back. I expect their defence to be busy against a Chelsea side who are very capable. Chelsea have some skillful and pacy attacking players who like to run at the opposing defence. Ballard has 6 tackles and 3 fouls committed in 3 starts this season. Joao Pedro alone has been fouled 17 times in his 8 games.
Suggested Bet: Ballard 1+ tackle & 1+ foul committed @ $2.40
Newcastle vs Fulham
Woltemade is a real handful for the opposition, though his sheer size can often result in clumsy contests (5 fouls commited in his last 5) Sessegnon is still covering the injured Robinson on the left, where he has amassed a whopping 12 fouls in his last 5. Finally, Dan Burn is expected to line up against Adama Traore – which is a mismatch of epic proportions due to their height and speed differences.
Suggested Bet: Woltemade to commit 1+ foul, Sessegnon to commit 1+ foul, Dan Burn to commit 2+ fouls @ $3.20
Man Utd vs Brighton
Mbeumo has at least 1 shot on target in 4 of his last 5, and is a constant threat from the right as he cuts in on his favoured left foot. Mathias De Ligt has committed 4 fouls in his last 5 games, and comes up against a Brighton side with strong underlying dribbling metrics.
Suggested Bet: Bryan Mbeumo 1+ shot on target, De Ligt 1+ foul committed @ $2.80
Brentford vs Liverpool
Liverpool will be looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League, after an impressive showing in Europe midweek. You can get $1.85 for them to win, which would have been unfathomable a month ago. Brentfords form has been mixed, with only 2 wins in their last 7 in the league. I expect Liverpool to be too strong on the day. Kevin Schade and Igor Thiago have collectively made an insane 28 fouls between them in the opening 8 rounds. Hopefully one of those is on big Virg!
Suggested Bet: Liverpool win, van Dijk to be fouled @ $5.15
BONUS
Harry Kane is paying $1.65 for 1+ tackles and $3.80 for 2+. Kane has at least one tackle in all 3 games that he has played in behind Nicholas Jackson.
