Race 1
#6. Matias @ $11 / $3.20 – Thought this was an excellent EW bet. Had an opinion of this horse last prep who ran fair in stronger grade than this at the short quote. Also ran behind Napeleonic who won comfortably at The Valley on the weekend. Draws well here and comes into this race gelded.
Race 5
#8. Ninette @ $2.40 – Trials leading into this have been super to suggest this mare has come back in good order. Has the speed to cross these early and be hard to run down.
Murray Bridge
Race 1
#10. It’sanotherbattle@ $2.50 – Ran good time in her trial at this track leading into this. Draws low to have a soft run in transit and looks to be the one in this field going onto stronger races.
Race 2
#11. Saint Boom @ $3 – Thought her last start had plenty of merit and will take improvement from that here. Like that the blinkers go on and maps for a better run today.
Race 5
#9. Shalhavmusik @ $2.60 – First up run was excellent in a Saturday maiden that rated well. Step up in distance suits and this race isn’t any harder.
Doomben
Race 4
#1. Margot’s Deel @ $2.80 – Drops back in grade here and like that the stable have taken their time to place her in the right race. Think she has more upside than these, just needs to not get too far back.
Race 6
#3. Balance The Books @ $1.80 – Dominant win in her only race last prep before being spelled. Looks to have plenty of ability, and trials leading into this suggest she’s ready to go.
