Lyhkan King-Togia – 13.9% ownership
The waiver of the week, no question. If you’re short at 5/8 — and I reckon plenty of people are — King-Togia is well worth a high waiver claim. If last week’s performance is anything to go by, Lachlan Ilias won’t be getting his spot back anytime soon. This kid looks like the real deal.
Dylan Egan – 37.8% ownership
His ownership keeps slipping, but once again, he proved he’s too good to be left sitting on the free agent list. For anyone who owns David Fifita or Jacob Preston and needs cover at 2RF, Egan is your man. He appears to have locked down that starting edge role and should be a solid option going forward.
Jamie Humphreys – 34.9% ownership
Humphreys’ ownership took a hit while he was out injured, but he’s been named to start this week and deserves a spot in plenty of teams. While I assume he loses the goal kicking that he had in the early rounds, the return of key players at Souths should boost his attacking output. He is a handy pick-up.
Dallin Watene-Zelezniak – 22.1% ownership
Back from a lengthy injury lay-off, DWZ is the forgotten man across the ditch. He’s been SuperCoach relevant in past seasons and with the Warriors flying right now, he’s definitely worth a waiver claim. He knows how to find the try line.
One-week play / Free agent pick up
James Schiller – 26.4% ownership
My number one SuperCoach tactic at the moment? Target players going up against the Titans — they’ve been shocking. Schiller is a great short-term option if you’re chasing upside or need an AE play this round.
Tallis Duncan – 7.3% ownership
He’s been named to start on the edge this week, so there’s definite upside here. While he’s worth a waiver claim, I’d lean towards picking him up as a free agent instead. Despite how good he is, Souths seem to have a habit of shifting him to the bench. If he can hold that starting role consistently, he’ll be a very handy pick up.
