Cronulla Sharks vs Parramatta Eels – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
I have been really underwhelmed by the Sharks so far, and with Moses back in the fold at Parramatta, they are a side capable of beating most sides in the NRL. Maybe its the blue and gold heart talking, but I think the Eels can get it done.

Sydney Roosters vs Dolphins – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
Both teams are 3 and 5 and while the Roosters have the quality up front, we think the Dolphins have the edge with their spine and bench which will ultimately decide the game. You can take the Dolphins at +1.5 in the F/T line also but I’ll be taking the slightly better price for the H/T result with 0.5 start.

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Newcastle Knights – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
With so many injuries plaguing the Rabbits, it is very hard to look past Newcastle here, even despite their own form struggles. You can currently get the Knights with a 2.5 start on a few bookies, though I expect that to change very soon with players dropping like flies. Usually I like to wait until team lists, but I expect the Knights to shorten up until kickoff. Souths have shown a real vulnerability in defending fullbacks this year, so our money will be going on KP to break his duck.

New Zealand Warriors vs North Queensland Cowboys – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
The Cowboys have really turned a corner, having won their last 4 games. On top of this, they are passing the eye test and not just scraping wins like they were earlier in the season. The Warriors have also won 4 of their last 5, however I lean the Cowboys in a game based in their home state. Nanai looks awesome on the left and his work rate exploded last week when starting again. I like this matchup vs Niukore.

Wests Tigers vs St George Illawarra Dragons – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
Hail mary bet with most of the bets being shorter this week. I expect there to be points in this one so am backing both teams dominant attacking edges to go over, as well as Terrell May because the man is a beast. Enough said!

Gold Coast Titans vs Canterbury Bulldogs – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
Struggling to find much value in this game. Might give the wallet a rest for 2 hours this weekend!

Penrith Panthers vs Brisbane Broncos – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
Hard one to call, so relying purely on stats for this bet. Penrith have won the first half in 5 of their last 6 matches as the underdog. Further to this, Penrith has won 8 of their last 9 fixtures against Brisbane. Finally, each of the last 6 matchups between the two sides has gone under the total points line. Won’t try and outthink the room on this one. That’s the bet.

Melbourne Storm vs Canberra Raiders – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
Last game of the round, so I expect the surface to have copped an absolute beating and will be looking to the unders market for this reason. Sticking with the form tryscorers in each team here to go along with the unders play.
