Race 3
#1. Tazima @ $3 – Looks ready to win and set to peak here third up. Gets a smart claim, will get through the wet, and think he goes close.
Race 4
#1. Axius @ $2.60 – Comes here off a freshen up and maps to lead this field or sit OSL. Last start was only fair, but drops back in grade here and gets the claim.
#6. Pretty Powerful @ $9 – Think his runs this prep have been better than they read on paper and we are getting a good price here. Gets Jmac, maps well from barrier 1, and getting $9 to find out.
Race 7
#16. Saltcoats @ $3.60 – Loved the last start run and set to peak here third up at the 1800m. We know he gets through the wet, just needs a touch of luck from the low draw.
Sandown
Race 2
#5. Planet Red @ $2 – Loved the jump outs leading into his maiden win which looks to be a strong form race. Think he has plenty of ability this horse and will be racing in the spring.
Murray Bridge
Race 2
#4. Machinegun Mike @ $3.50 – Solid first up run and has been kept fresh for this. Think he has more ability than the rest of these, and just needs to produce that first start run to go close here.
Race 4
#2. Anthracite @ $1.90 – Super impressive on debut and the form out of that race has been good. Step up the mile looks perfect, just needs a touch of luck from the wide draw.
